What Are You Playing? - Jovial June 2025
It's a new month which means I'm asking you guys what's going with you guys.
First off. Happy Pride Month! I'm flying the Asexual flag colors on my avatar as I do every year. However you spend the month, I hope you have fun.
I've been writing a lot of guides for RollerCoaster Tycoon guides as part of a giant project I call "Project Sawyer". Which is a list of hundreds of guides I plan to write, and the number has slowly gone up over time. Previously it was 386, then 397, and now it's standing at 407. Here's a link to my spreadsheet if you want to see exactly what beast I'm tackling here. This is a very ambitious project that will likely take me literal years to complete, but I believe I can do it.
Naturally this means that I've also been playing these games quite a lot too. I've been trying to learn Simutrans, which is inspired by OpenTTD. VERY difficult to learn. Other transporting games I could learn fairly quickly, but not this one.
So... what about you guys?

As well as the usual suspects... (wich Quidditch Champions might join)
Some days ago I finished Super Mario RPG Remake on the switch and now I am planning to play my Yugioh Early Days Collection, mostly Sacred Cards and Reshef of Destruction to start. (Have 4 locator cards on the first one, so I am going at good speed). If I finish them this month I might go for Assassins Creed Odyssey, Finish Advance Wars 2 on Reboot Camp or go for Mario and Luigi Brothership or Mario & Rabbids 2. It all depends on how much I am into strategy at the moment.
Also I got to play some Banner Saga 2 and Balatro, wich can't just let me go as well as Age of Mythology Retold.
And lastly Payday 3 and Battlefront 2 (EA), wich i revisit from time to time. This month I have played them quite a bit in this 4 days we had.
(As you may notice, I have had much more time this 4 days than the time I had last month in total xD)

I've been replaying the campaigns in Heroes of Might and Magic IV, which I haven't played at all since I was a kid and never fully completed. Beat the first five pretty handily over the last few days, but the Chaos campaign is a serious difficulty spike. In the first mission alone, you start with basically nothing and have to juggle ocean exploration with base defense against a guy that starts with multiple fully-built towns and a portal straight to your doorstep.
Also, Heroes of the Storm celebrated its 10th anniversary, and released a fully new skin for the first time since maintenance mode. God bless the Classic team keeping that game alive.

I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
I'm mostly just messing around with some new RPGs this month. Simutrans looks like it demands serious dedication nd I'm not sure I'm ready for that challenge.
Welp, just finished the Sacred Cards without too much farming (Duelist Level 400 and Deck Capacity 2585). Mostly used types and some 1400 attack monsters. Time to go for Reshef of Destruction

Reshef of Destruction done... That was way more intense than I remembered... I still can't believe 11 years old me beat it.

All those Yu-Gi-Oh GBA games I think were really revolutionary. It was basically the big precursor to digital TCGs we see today, all originating from that tiny handheld.
I definitely spent a lot of hours in my youth with those games.
