  • I'd almost slap the filler tag on this one, although one should never underestimate the potential of dealing damage to enemy hero. May perhaps end up seeing play in some form.

  • This card is trash compare this to Nightblade.

  • Has some synergy with Relentless Pursuit so I wouldn't disregard it completely.

  • Old Arcane Golem, B O I Z

  • Probably won't see pay, but it might provide a solid push for Aggro Decks.

  • There is potential in decks that don't care how much they take as long as you take more.

  • erm is that even good... My instinct is no... It is understated

    • I mean, in any class with lifesteal and/or healing, that downside ain't really one, as it simply leverages your uses of recovering tools.

  • Dealing 4 damage for 4 mana is okay, but really not worth playing. The body is alright, but again, not really worth playing for 4 mana. The downside is easily negligible since most of the time you are playing this in decks that don't care about their health total. It may see play if there is an aggro deck desperate for burn damage, but there are a lot of other options that can deal more damage for their cost. I will however be playing this in some of my Shudderwock Shamans alongside some face heal and Refreshment Vendor just for fun.

  • Its face deck stuff. I don't get why so many are not impressed with something that deals a straight 4 face damage then develops a decent body. Stealth rogue and face hunter would've played this right away.

Of course, outside of this its trash.

  • Could see play in Quest Shaman, as they have healing tools available

    • 7 Mana combo for just neglecting damage to yourself? This is not how smork decks work.

  • Yeah, probably not. Symmetrical damage like this is not great.

  • "Funnel cakes! Get your f-aaaah!" -Refreshment Vendor

  • Pretty bad card. It's like Shadowbomber that's 4 mana instead of 1 mana, and deals a whopping 1 more point of damage. wow.

Not even hyper aggro will use this, because it's too dangerous for themself in a mirror match. And it's way too expansive. And Priest has Spawn of Shadows which does the exact same thing, but Spawn of Shadows has inspire, which makes it good.

7 Mana combo for just neglecting damage to yourself? This is not how smork decks work.

it also deals 8 damage total for 7 mana while developing a smaller body.

  • I think this is absolutely terrible and will never see play outside a suicide warlock or something it just doesn't seem good I see no reason to play this.

  • When compared to Shadowbomber, this looks way worse, not to mention that health matters a lot in aggressive mirror matches. Aggressive decks are already designed to deal enough damage to control decks, so I don't see why they'd need to run Knife Vendor, which very easy becomes a liability.

  • Very cool card, won't see play but it's cool. I agree with krip when he saw this where he pointed out that in most games it is better to try to tie a game than lose.

  • Pretty high end for an aggro deck, but could be that final push you need.  Would have worked better as a 4-3.

  • Could be useful in tempo decks where your own health matters much less.

    Bad, even for arena.

Maybe a superaggro deck uses it as a finisher, but looks weak.

  • Nothing more than pack filler. Probably will be a jank OTK shaman deck with it

  • Great for ending other player's win streak. /s

  • If you're an Aggro deck, you don't care too much about the damage to your own face.

If you're an Zoolock deck, you DO care about the damage to your own face, but that's because you have cards that can make use of it.

  • I don't really see this being played outside of random fun decks

  • Ha! Everyone sleeping on this card. I think that it might be the underdog of the expansion that will make everyone cry about "yet another aggro meta" :) This card hits faster and harder than Nightblade and lot more cost effective for what it does. I believe this card will surprise you.

  • No.

  • It isn't a terrible card, aggro decks might find some use for it.

  • If all you care about is hitting the opponent in the face, this card is an easy pick. 4 damage is 4 damage. Of course, the vast majority of decks aren't that aggressive and won't look twice at this.

  • Quest priest fall in love with this one. Will see more play than most of the people expect for this.

  • Don't see this being played much, the stats aren't that appealing

  • This likely wants to be the finisher in aggressive decks like Demon Hunter and Face Hunter--it's probably just barely good enough to make the cut in Tier 2 or 3 aggressive lists that need a few more cards to really be good.

  • I don't see this as being a useful card. Anyone that wants some reach damage will have better burst options. Playing it not for lethal has too much of a penalty attached.

  • Good enabler for Flesh Giant, followed by some kind of heal, of course
