good try, but way too slow

this trigger type was proven to not be effective in the past.. good in arena. 1/5 in standard
What happened to %50 chance flavour of Ogres ? I missed those times. Like Elekk's flavour, i feel like they keep doing it for Ogres too but well, Ogre Magi is with us since beta so who I am to judge.
With an effect like that I would have thought he was a Trogg. Speaking of, this well suffer a similar fate of being too niche and not warranting a spot over other cards.
Interesting effect, but not likely to see play.
Definitely stronger than any card in the trogg vertical cycle, but that is not a high bar.
I voted this 1 star because it is not a trogg. Also because it isn't a good card. To justify playing a 5 mana 2/8 you have to have a big ability like with Malygos. Also, your opponent could very easily just kill this and cast their spells afterwards. Maybe you end up with one skeleton, but you would need at least 3 skeletons for this to be worth it.
The card itself isn't good obviously, but the mana pools for summoning random minions just keeps getting more insane. We have seen creative expansions in the past but nothing like this!
These effects are generally not very good since it's easy to get rid of them. Burgly Bully was only played in Exodia Paladin to refresh the Hero Power. I don't imagine this seeing play.
I like this in priest since you buff it and then it would require spells from the opponent to remove it, also it has big health so it reamains after turn 5.
I guess the idea is that this card can make up as a counter to mage and shaman. But its still a little too slow, and mage can even take advantage of this by filling your board and Frost Nova to deny you any plays and then play Sea Giant while they're on it as well.
Aside from this, its just garbage
Meh ... i think it is to slow and if you play it most likely will be removed fast - so i guess it is kind of a soft taunt ... depending on the board state. But overall i think not that good.
5 mana minion with 7 health to counter spell slinging, could have burned some of enemy removal but overall it's not worth it.
WAY to SLOW. decent stat's but this card is REALLY situational. It's basicly just a win-more kinda card you play when ahead on board. So why not play a different card instead that can actually close out the game? Also turn 5 is around the time where the big single target removals come out like Assassinate, Siphon Soul and other spells. That means this will just be a 5 mana 2/2 with taunt. Horrible value and just a waste of mana.
Not unlike Troggzor the Earthinator, but cheaper. The tokens are less powerful, but they taunt. I'm intrigued.

Punish cards are pretty much always bad, don't see how this one would be different to be honest. It is significantly better than Troggzor the Earthinator because atleast the stats don't make me want to curl up into a ball on the floor crying, but thats not saying much. Could be an arena card, I know some of the Troggs were decent so maybe this one will be diffeerent?
Troggzor the Earthinator teach that this mechanics don't work. So filler card imho
Could be good against a Mage using a lot of spells. Buuuuuuuuuut, 2/2's are nothing for a Mage using a lot of spells. Burly Rockjaw feelings, coulda, shoulda, wontcha.

Just a packfiller. Even if it's removed by a spell, it's a 5/3/7 with "deathrattle: summon a 2/2 with taunt", which is bad.
A powerful deck filler. Adds nice flavor to packs. Yummy.

Bad stats for the cost
Another Trogg that I don't think will see any play. Probably good Arena card, but not scary enough to run in a constructed deck. I don't expect to see this one anytime soon.

This is like a 5 mana Hogger that your opponent gets to control when you summon the 2/2 taunts, which is to say this card isn't good.
At least you'll get a 2/2 after
This minion is like if Hogger and Troggzor the Earthinator were combined into a minion.
The last Trogg minion we got was the Burgly Bully, a 5 mana 4/6 who gave you the coin everytime your opponent cast a spell. with 6 health it was pretty sturdy and could withstand most direct damage spells, and if it didn't it would still net you a coin.
With 1 attack less this minion should be able to absorb all but the strongest single target removal spells (siphon soul, Shadow Word: Pain, etc) and produce 1, maybe 2 tokens with taunt.
There are a lot of decks that use minions as removal, however, so there's a good chance this guy comes out on the field and is just removed by something bigger.
It's slow to play and easy to play around, and the stats and effect aren't particularly good in Arena, either. I don't think this minion will see play
These spell-restrictive cards haven’t seen too much play in the past, and I’m not sure if this one will either. It does seem a little slow and to only give a 2/2 doesn’t appear to be powerful enough.
Better than Troggzor since it’s 2 mana cheaper, but still not that great

Lol that flavor text, this is actually one of the true necromancy students of the true Scholomance
I enjoy these "whenever you opponent..." type cards from back in GVG and KoFT. They introduce some interesting decisions during game play

Given that I just read about how [Hearthstone Card (Trogzor) Not Found] was overhyped, I'm not going to get my hopes up for a card with a similar effect.
The art is good?
Decent arena card, but the art is just amazing though!
I like it in theory, but past cards based on your opponent casting spells have all been bad. This does not seem good enough to change that.
