How to pilot this deck
Here is my stab at building an OTK combo deck utilizing the new Hunter Quest Unseal the Vault. You would play this deck like a mech token/zoo deck until you assemble the combo needed to win. You need to Dire Frenzy one Timber Wolf, and land the discount from Scarlet Webweaver on Tundra Rhino to do more than 30 damage in one turn. Discounted Tundra Rhino, one buffed Timber Wolf and Swarm of Locusts buffed by hero power is 31 damage for 9 mana. With two buffed Timber Wolfs, you get 40 damage for 10 mana. I don't know how viable this will be, but it should be fun to attempt nonetheless.

my to.go deck for some quick games
1 x buffed Timber Wolf = 4 dmg
1 x discounted Tundra Rhino = 3 damage with buff from Timber Wolf
5 x Locust (assuming you started with an empty board) with Hero Power + buff from Timber Wolf = 5 x 4 = 20
So 27 damage for 9 mana?
What am I missing to get 31 damage?
*answered, I worked it out wrong
Buffed timber wolf = 4 dmg,
Rhino = 2 dmg
5xtokens = 5 dmg
Wolf's buff = 6 dmg
heropower buff = 14 dmg
It adds up to 31. I think you didni include extra dmg wolf and rhino get from hero power. Or am I wrong here? (honest question, no intention to mock you)
Yep that's it, was thinking it must be somewhere :)
Yes, this is the right math breakdown for the damage combo eazy
I am glad we solved this :) Have you tried the deck yet OP? I am curious how is it performing. Myself so far I have only had time to open my packs and play one game, so no idea of the meta.
I tried it on two accounts since I was "lucky" enough to open the quest on both. Still tinkering with it, but against more refined decks/players it can end up being too slow since you don't develop on turn one. I also tried a beast version to see if cycling faster with master's call would help, and it really didn't change anything. I did get the combo off a few times, but most wins were from the zoo beat down, not the combo.
I don't think your math adds up.
