Idea of the deck is to stall the game with Explosive Sheep and Play Dead till you get to summon both pieces to form Thaddius, which you can then bring back to life many times with Nine Lives or N'Zoth, the Corruptor.

I played a version of this deck back then, but with the secret package and Jepetto Joybuzz as defensive too until i got feugen and stalagg. Also makes N'zoth better. From my testing, Master's Call helps out a lot to tutor out.
Spiritsinger Umbra also turned out to make the deck fun :P
It's true tho that the egg early game makes for a more fun and interactive start.
