Walking the Dog

I wanted to give Thresh some love and some new friends to play with. Walking the Dog isn’t much different from your typical Thresh combo deck. Start of with your early last breath units, Cursed Keeper and Warden’s Prey. Kill them with Ravenous Butcher and Blighted Caretaker, preferably with Thresh on the field. Protect Thresh with Quicksand, Rite of Negation and Ancient Hourglass (yes, Thresh will keep his kills after being obliterated). After the level up, walk the dog with Thresh and bring out a beefy Nasus. If you need to, use Ruthless Predator to help his level up. Once Nasus gets big enough, wait for the right time for Atrocity, his spellshield should eliminate a good chunk of counters. If you’re unable to level Thresh, either play Rekindler or stall with Rampaging Baccai and Rite of Negation.
