Annoying Rerolls in Lab of Legends

So I am currently completing all Lab of Legends quests and it´s a lot of fun.

However, there is one thing that annoys me a little. At the start, you choose the first buff which usually will be an epic one because obviously they give the biggest value in the majority of games. Since they don´t occur as often, you have no choice but to perma spam forfeit and start again, until you get the buff you want. 

Now I am wondering why Rito isn´t just letting people choose the first buff, because you end of rerolling 100x anyway, for what you need. That would save a lot of time and makes more sense, in my opinion.

    • I think that they want the mode to have a rogue like feel and for that requires a certain amount of RNG, also many player choose to stick with the first buff that they got as a form of self imposed challenge.

      • Possible, however this whole mode is literally a challenge in itself, so yeah idk how many in fact think like that. To me and my friends it´s just crucial that you start with a useful buff, because all the other choices from there are RNG, which is fine. Just the first one should choosable imo

  • Maybe they could implement being able to choose your first buff/power out of all possible ones as a separate option. So those who prefer the roguelike rng element can still pick one out of 3 options, and those who prefer to start with whatever power they want won't have to reroll so many times.

  • I feel like instead of doing something like that, I'd be much happier if they buffed up the bad buffs. I mean, some of the Commons are just useless like Deep Meditation which almost never works except maybe once per run. Another choice would be adding exclusive starting buffs and, of course making that choosable. I just don't think it feels right to make it so that you can pick the first buff when the options just become redundant with the Epic buffs.

    • I think buffs like Deep Meditation are some last minute options before you go into your last match and it might have some very situational value there. 

      Other options kinda depend from getting another specific buff, like Evolution plus Rage for all units or so.
