How does morning light work? is it bugged?

If Ihave a Solari Priestess in play and cast Morning Light with Daybreak. The priestess' Daybreak doesn't trigger.

I'd had it not trigger other daybreak  effects either. Am I missing something?

    I'd had it not trigger other daybreak  effects either. Am I missing something?

  • Morning light itself has Daybreak. You sure it was the first card you played in the turn?

  • Yes. I created a deck to test it vs A.I.  It worked there, but it was hit and miss during expeditions.

     

    But the game updated so many times that it may have been fixed.

  • I've seen this exact scenario work several times - they have you pick the Celestial card before the spell resolves, so it can appear that the two events are not connected.
