Rewards after 3 expeditions?

I've completed my three expeditions for this week but I was wondering what exactly the rewards are if you enter open play (free expeditions after you've completed the first three in a week). In the game it just says "limited rewards". Does this mean you only get regular xp like for normal games?

  • I think you only get XP. It’s still as fun though!

     

  • If you like farming, it is the best choice after you finished collecting your daily experience points from pvp and ai.

    Expeditions continue to give you experience points while normal play is capped at 30 wins/20 lose pvp and 20wins/10 loses against AI. Those open play Expeditions are only way to gain some extra experience points after you capped with daily wins/loses.

    So if you are playing the game 5-6 days in a day, you should probably finish 3 expedition runs as soon as possible to gain more experience.

  • Okay so I just played an open expedition and I've come to the conclusion that this is actually a great way to earn a lot of experience and/or to try out crazy stuff you would normally be too hesitant to try out in expeditions.

    In my run I picked almost every poro card I was offered and I ended up with a deck with 5x Mighty Poros, 5x poro snax and 3x iceborn legacy to buff my mighty poros even more. I had some crazy games, got to 4 wins, and gained 900xp next to the normal amount of xp you get after each expedition game. So if you're in dire need of more xp, I'd definitely suggest playing some open expeditions.
