Lore

"They think themselves clever, calling their group Magpyre as if to suggest they've stolen fire from the gods. But the truth is far more intriguing. Magpies fear new things, and so the moniker Magpyre suggests these are mortals reacting in fear to the uncontrollable fires they've unleashed upon the world. It brings their recent activity into harsh focus." Excerpt from untitled journal located in Magpyre Biomyth Facility 19 Lore submitted by Lucius Matheson
