There was a huge mining concern up here a while back; ran into trouble with the local elementals after the easily accessible veins dried up, helluva nasty business. After we came up here and knocked the greedy bastards down the mountain, stone people turned right friendly; helpful, even. Too dark and cold most times o' the year for mortals, but it suits us just fine.
