Why does War Chefs get to be a 2/2/3 and this card has to be a 2/2/2? Nevermind, just figured it out lol. It doesn't specify "this round" on Tyari, so the buff stays.
Getting that 0+2 on the right target can be a game changer combined with the other support card ''Mountain Sojourners'' that gives 2+2 to this card and then 2+2 to the supported ally makes an character pretty hard to kill.
Initially, this unit seemed like a far worse unit than War Chefs (since -1 health is a lot to sacrifice to make the buff permanent). However, this unit is actually very different from War Chefs because while War Chefs makes your opponent not want to block the unit (to prevent the "heal" on the supported unit if it has full health), Tyari permanently buffs the survivability of the unit and has no "heal" effect. I think Tyari would be worse with Challenger units and better with units that want to Attack a lot (like Hecarim or maybe elusive units). It could also just be that Tyari is run instead of War Chefs because Targon Support decks don't want demacia as a second region.
Tyari-Teemo meta incoming!
If that's a perma - buff then it's a really good card.
Might be the best support card at 2 mana.
I never apologize… I’m sorry but that’s the way I am.
There's no question -- as pointed out by one of the game's loading screens: If a buff doesn't say how long it lasts, it's permanent!
(Of course, in many cases, there's very little practical difference between temporary and permanent health buffs -- either way, the health isn't removed at the end of the round if the unit is at or below its max health.)
