  • Seems quite strong, is has real potential to be annoyingly sticky. I doubt Guardian Druid would run this though, so it'll have to wait for other archetypes to emerge.

  • A neat effect for sure, but I think it might require a bit too much set up to really get good value out of it.  Token Druid with broom could be pretty nice with it, but I don't see it beating out other decks right now.  There are plenty of cards left to be revealed, so we'll see if this gets any more support.

  • Seems good, it's sticky as hell.  They have to do a total wipe of your board to get rid of this thing if they can't silence/transform it.  and since it has taunt that can make it pretty difficult.

Druid will need some better token stuff in standard probably but it's not far off.

I kind of love this card on first impression and I hope it has a deck.

  • Apologies to Dekkster, but it's not Grey-Bo. It rhymes with "now."

A bough is a tree branch, as in "when the bough breaks."

  • It reminds me of Dragonrider Talritha but on a stick (because it is a tree)

    Ba dum tss

  • This card looks insanely good. I am excited for this card. I can also imagine being super frustrated trying to get through this as the opponent. Maybe Ironbeak Owl makes a comeback?

That card fits on a lot of archetypes... tokens, control, midrange... Really solid and good on it's own card.

  • Interesting card. Seems really good, BUT it requires minions on board to keep going. Also those minions of yours need to trigger the deathrattle in order to summon a Greybough. However their are some interesting synergy with this, like Vectus giving you a few Greyboughs if they got removed.

Standard: I don't fully know what kind of deck want's this. On one side Greybough works well with tokens, but token druid doesn't want Greybough. Maybe it will fit in quest or Heal druid? We will probably see some kind of support cards for Greybough i'm guessing, because all other druid cards revealed so far fit more in Survival of the Fittest druid or OTK Druid.

Wild: I honestly don't know in what deck it would see play... oh wait i know! Hadronox druid! if you have multiple Greyboughs on board they might be able to generate a NEARLY unbreakable wall. (Better hope your opponent has no Silence cards.)

  • And this is in a class that can create swarms easily, 5/5.
Though I'm not sure how practical it will be.

  • I can tell I’m already going to hate this card. Real question is does he count as a treant though? Could help to revitalize treant decks

  • Arena juggernaut in constructed can be countered but still can give plenty of value

Now if you feel your board with this it can be pretty nasty and hard to remove for anyone but maybe priest

No... only cards that have "treant" in the name of the card count

  • I really like this card, not like in a meaning of "crafting it" but in a meaning of "having fun" with it in wild Hadronox Druid IF I manage to open it :)

  • Very greedy. N'zoth into a board full of this will leave an opponent without silence or transform very stuck.

A 5 mana taunt with a deathrattle that your opponent can play around is unlikely to make major waves in competitive, but this is a fun grindy card.

  • I am not sure how much this card will see play from a practical standpoint. You need to have a lot of minions on the board for this to work, but if you are playing a token druid you aren't going to want something as slow as this. And most control druids don't have enough minions for this to continually resurrect in the way you want. Also, in a plenty of cases your opponent may have ways of killing your other minions before this one, making it very easy to disrupt the chain. There may be some mid-range type deck that uses this guy, Hadronox, and N'Zoth, the Corruptor to get a bunch of extra beef in the late game.

  • If you are lucky enough to get this in your random 30 for Arena picks, this spells auto-problem for any opponent.  Other than that, there needs to be some deathrattle support for Druid, which doesn't really exist.

You've just described Soul of the Forest to a T.

  • This card is pretty good and will likely see play.

  • Its a good card on its own, but I wouldn't be straining over getting anything out of the deathrattle.

At least its better than Lucentbark most of the time, but will likely end up the same way as that card, at least in standard.

  • This feels like a card with a pretty good effect, but with reasonable, reachable ways for your opponent to play around it.

Which typically means that they won't see play. XD - It can be good for decks that like to have a lot of small minions (which Druid does well), and it works with Hadronox and original N'Zoth. It seems like a strong, but balanced and fair card. Which again, typically means that it won't see play, lol. But it seems like it has a decent chance. If half-stars were a thing, I'd probably rate it 3.5.

  • The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is when you lose a minion.

  • This wouldn't see play in a token druid at all. More of a midrange deck where you only have 1 or 2 minions on the board. The best play for this card would be to have 1 midrange minion, attack with Greybough let the deathrattle hit your other minion, then attack with that minion and make sure it dies. At the end of turn you'd have a decent taunt while also removing opponents minions. This excludes anything else you can do on your turn.

Also remember, silence is more uncommon these days due to Spellbreaker being HoF'ed. Only real threat of silence is DH

  • At worst, it's defensive Druid of the Claw. After one deathrattle trigger, it's a better and cheaper Cairne Bloodhoof. Any deathrattle trigger after that is just insane value and extra stickyness on the deck I'm assuming Greybough will find a home: token Druid.

  • Seems good to me in a token deck, seems really hard to get rid of if you keep summoning tokens.

  • Could see play in a Treant Druid, or token, but is just ruined by silence.  I think it's a strong card but needs more sticky minions to have sufficient support

  • INFINITE TREES! granted you can get like 3 onboard and they align correctly might be a bit crazy in wild

  • I think this is too slow in a couple of respects. First, Greybough is best utilized in a Token Druid that has multiple minions on board to best leverage the effect; however, Token Druid prefers cards that further cement their entire board immediately like Power of the Wild and Soul of the Forest. Second, there are a number of cheap silence and transform effects that see play right now, from Consume Magic to Devolving Missiles. This makes it difficult in a handful of matchups for Greybough to even get one deathrattle off as your opponent will control when the deathrattle goes off most of the time. Overall, I think the lack of immediacy of this card as well as its lack of synergy will prevent it from seeing competitive play.

  • Insta addition to Taunt Druid in Wild.

  • I think a lot of people underestimate this card because they immediately look to how much value they can get from the Deathrattle. By itself it's a 5 mana 4/6 Taunt, which is not a bad card at all. The fact that it could be a recurring problem for your opponent is practically just bonus - a fantastic bonus, but not by any means the only thing you should be focusing on.

  • Hadronox Druid got scarier, and I don't think this will see much play in Standard

  • This just looks cool. Silence, transform, or full board clears will be required for this card. It comes down soon enough to be a bother.

  • There is a good dream of going infinite, but it looks more likely to get carefully cleared.

  • seems too weak, the stats are meh and it doesn't really work on token druid if the enemy has aeo or spells to clear before killing this

  • Even if Token Druid decides to run this, I feel like it doesn't actually help against Control decks, since they usually use spells and AoE which goes around this and potentially strand this.

  • It has OK stats, but the Deathrattle really needs you to have other minions on board or it's just a single 4/6 with Taunt for 5. Feels pretty inflexible, not likely to be a huge part of any of Druid's plans going forward.

  • Very interesting mechanic, it can get really annoying to deal with
