An interesting card, but not likely to see play. Most strong totem effects just use the fact that it's easy to get a lot of them into play using your hero power, and most totem decks only run a few cards that are totems. I would love for an effect like this to be good, but I don't think that this is it.
As a side note, this seems like it could be balanced as one of the 'non-basic' totems the shaman hero power summons in duels.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Legendary Totem had to happen at some point, didn't it?
I'm a bit skeptical if +1/+1 will be worth the tempo loss on turn 3, I doubt this would survive longer than one tick. Amazing Totemic Reflection target it it does.
you copy this with Totemic Reflection and suddenly it buffs each other turn 4 with Lightning Bloom seems like a really powerful card to me.
Pretty hard to use, but if you pull off protecting this you can snowball pretty hard.
There are a lots of support for totem shaman.
Trick Totem,EVIL Totem,Totem Goliath, Runic Carvings, Splitting Axe, Totemic Reflection and Totemic Surge.
Plus the classics Flametongue Totem, Mana Tide Totem and Totemic Might.
Grand Totem Eys'or is a good addition for sure but, is enough? Totem shaman is annoying, but not worth deck actually.
I expect that 1 or 2 more totem cards will be revealed with that set.
By The Holy Light!
Its certainly an auto include into totem decks, but I don't think its really any good outside of that.
I still think shaman loses board too easily, and this card looks to me more like a win-more card that snowballs but played from behind is about as useful as a deep pocket with a hole in it.
There's still plenty of shaman cards unrevealed, so my fingers are crossed for a better early game and some board swinging cards.
Amazing for totem shaman. Great buff, and amazing target for Totemic Reflection for even more buffs. Just a shame it can't buff itself, but at least it can buff copies of itself. (Even though shaman NEEDS something OP in order to get a good deck again.) But Grand Totem Eys'or is only the SECOND shaman card revealed so far, so we'll see if it gets any more support. Maybe we will see a "battlecry: summon a copy of this minion" kinda totem or something? But the unfortunate thing about totem shaman, is that a bunch of totem cards are going to rotate soon.
Standard: This will see play in totem shaman, but how good it will be depends on what kind of support it's going to get this expansion.
Wild: ODD Costed, but i don't think ODD Shaman wants this. ODD Shaman prefers FACE damaging with spell damage basic totems, and other spell damage minions. If it was EVEN costed though, then it would have been way better. But it might also see play in some kind of Totem shaman in wild. I'm not sure how good that deck will be, but that deck might see some experimentation at the very least.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Finally a legendary totem! This card will also be great in duels as the current HP for shaman wouldn't suck anymore (after blizz nerfed the shizz out of it).
I'm keen to see the impact this would have in the current totem shaman archetype, might push the deck into Tier 2 if we lucky. Bare in mind this is only the 2nd Shaman card we've seen for this expansion, so we might get more support. Here's hoping
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Solid card for Totem Shaman. Copying this with Totemic Reflection could be a major headache for opponents. The effect isn't that overpowered because it's not a blanket effect for the rest of the game, but having this survive for one turn and give all totems you have with +1/+1 will be huge nonetheless.
I like this one. Totem Shaman was pretty decent the last expansion and this is a buff to the Arche-Type.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I don't this would survive a turn, but if it does you can Splitting Axe it next turn
You would rather Totemic Reflection on turn 3, so I foresee this totem actually being more of a late-game boost to try and get your totems that extra mile to kill the opponent. I think Totem Shaman in standard would run this because it needs the Totem targets to win, but should not make that much of an impact as it can only be cloned on turn 4 at the least (with Lightning Bloom), and Totem Shamans are notorious for almost immediately falling off once the board is cleared
This ain't no place for a hero
Totem shaman finally viable? Don't know, this doesn't buff "summoned in the future totems", so has certain limit on how much value you can get from it.

First Legendary Totem! Of note is the fact that it won't buff Totems you summon with Hero Power since those aren't on your hand, deck, or battlefield. It's not a "wherever they are" effect. Totemic Reflection with it would be really great, but it's not too likely for this to stay on the board.
This isn't a bad card, but we gotta see more, you know?
This is weird, in a good way. Obviously only playable in one single archetype, but it has a lot of synergy there. Especially when copied by the Axe or Reflection!
Totem Shaman is already on the rise in Standard (it's not great but has some potential). This will help that archetype a lot.

Personally, I don't care about the text. I love totems. I am very excited just to have a legendary totem in the game. Totem shaman is one of my favorite decks. It's about time it got a legendary minion.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
An absolutely nutty totem to copy with either Totemic Reflection or Splitting Axe and will be a staple in all Totem Shamans until it rotates. That said, it is applicable literally nowhere else, making it hard to judge whether or not it will see competitive play.
It would be great if it affected your hero-power totems, but as it is ...
Real talk, though: It's not like Shaman actually needed another powerful legendary card. This is fine.
this would actually be good if it was an aura that buffed your hero power. This card is solid but it isn't enabling totem shaman at all.
Even it if only gets one tic on the board, it feels that it was worth it.
Totem Shaman actually has a positive winrate on HSReplay. I somehow expect a totem lover to show up in this expansion and maybe round out the deck. As far as Grand Totem Eys'or, it is the most aggressive target for Totemic Reflection, turning all totems in deck to reasonably beefy dudes, but the best target for the spell is still EVIL Totem (mostly because is cheaper).
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
On curve with Splitting Axe will give two buff ticks if it manage to survive.
On wild on a dedicated totem deck is like a Keleseth on the whole deck
I love the art, but I don't see this helping Shaman very much. I'm not sure what Shaman needs to improve it's standing but I don't think this is it.
After nearly 6 years, still pushing Totem Shammy - kappa

good meme
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
I guess this is a fun card at least not too sure about its effectiveness since it doesn't buff hero power ones unless they're on board and there really arent many totems to put in your deck
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I think that the buff isn't going to be that substantial as a +1/+1 buff doesn't scale well with totems. In addition, if you play this on turn 3, then you just sacrificed a lot of tempo and initiative in an archetype that centers around those two features. I just don't see how this is aggressive enough for Totem Shaman to run.
For glory, honor, and gold!
lorewalker stats for a legendary, would be better if it buffed all totems including itself, but i think it's still good if you draw it early enough.
Living like that.
While I still think that Eye-sor is pretty weak, I think some people may be underestimating it. If your opponent does not kill this minion after one turn, your totems are going to be HUGE, especially if you can follow up with a splitting axe or totemic reflection.

Very annoying card in Duels, but perhaps too slow in constructed though.
Totem Shaman will be a high tier deck! This, with Totemic Reflection and Splitting Axe, will be tough to deal with.
blizzard really trying to push "totem shaman" into our faces uh
All hail the banshee queen.
Turn 10: Ey'sor + Totemic Reflection + Splitting Axe for four 5/5's plus all totems in deck up to 4/4.
Opponent hits you with a Zeph into Twiting nether. Or a Mass Dispell. Or a Lab Asssitant + Flame Strike, Or a ...
I'm so glad I don't have to play against wild totem shaman with this card in it. That has the potential to be really scary.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
@Input That scenario seems a little bit situational :P
Anyway, as Murphy said, if it's going to happen anytime it will happen to me xD

Now this card is interesting, can it revive Totem Shaman? Copy and profit! :D

Love the pun, love seeing a Legendary Totem. Definitely gonna be attempting to make this a thing, which it might actually be given all the Totem support floating around right now.
Welcome to the site!
Might be my favorite card art of the set.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
As much as Totem Shaman is close to being a Meta-force, aren't most totems generated rather than being from the deck?
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Not sure if Totem Shaman will ever be a thing. It seems like there just aren't enough tools to support it
What an Ey'sor. This feels kind of memey, especially considering that at least half of the Totems for Totem Shaman come from their Hero Power. Of course, this is just straight busted with Totemic Reflection. Totem Shaman probably has enough snowball potential to at least cheese its way to a 50% win-rate on ladder.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Grand Totem Eys'or is surprisingly good so far. I've been playing Totem Shaman and it's just wrecking most of the other decks right now (I'm currently 8-1 with it).
The main criticism for this card was that there aren't just enough totems to include in your deck, which has proven to be wrong. There's Totem Goliath, Mana Tide Totem, EVIL Totem, and Circus Amalgam, not to mention the totem-duplicating cards like Splitting Axe and Totemic Reflection. That's more than enough support. Add in the presence of Lightning Bloom and Tour Guide and you can cheat out multiple totems and Grand Totem Eys'or as early as turn 2, where it can just snowball from there.
It could be early, but it's powered Totem Shaman to Tier 1 so far. I'm hoping Grand Totem Eys'or would be nerfed eventually though, it was my golden legendary from the bundle. Gimme that dust!
Totem shaman is wrecking greedy decks, the people use to test new decks in the first week of a new set, usually greedy combo decks or memes.
On decembre totem shaman will be tier 2/3 for sure.
