This doesn't look like a bad card, but a bit weak for a legendary. Getting two synergistic cards for one card is nice, but not incredible, I guess whether or not this sees play depends on how good the eclipses are.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
They created this, with Kael'Thas in the same standard year? Play this, then follow up with Lunar (next spell costs 2 less), then Solar (Next spell casts twice), then Survival of the Fittest, and boom +8/+8 to your whole deck, and a 12/15 Kael'thas on board. Better hope Druid gets no survival tools for the next year.
It sounds good, but need quite a bit of calculating for it to work properly. since in total, you need 13 mana to summon both Kaelthas and Kiri and cast the first eclipse, not to mention each 3rd spell you cast cost 1 more. But it could work nonetheless. Probably turn 10, and hopefully get nerfed very soon. (finger crossed)
Knowledge is Power
A very strange card. It would make more sense if the eclipses were tokens for this, but as they aren't, so I don't see a reason to run this unless you need to generate a lot of them for some combo.
I assume that solar eclipses don't stack, so I can't think what you would need more than two of them for.
This post is discussing the wild format.
For the Survival combo, you could play Kiri the turn before, making it a 10 mana combo.
This is a tricky card to rate. It has bad stats for tempo, and it's more of a value card. Personally i think this WILL be a super powerfull card. This gives you more synergy with Kael'thas Sunstrider and Exotic Mountseller. AND the Solar Eclipse can double your Survival of the Fittest! This is honestly a... very scary situation to think about. Solar Eclipse specifically is a SCARY card, and this gives you more copies of it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This is a very strange card by design, and I'm not sure how to feel about it from this perspective. That said, both of these cards are pretty good so you can probably find some use for them.
If the Eclipse cards gonna become important for combo shenanigans, this will see play, otherwise doubtful.

It gives you both eclipses, but from what we have seen druid capable of doing, I don't really see where this one fits. Still, both eclipses are basically deal 6 damage for 2 mana, so that's decent for druid I guess.
The flexibility of the eclipses will determine whether this is worth the inclusion, basically.
Also, why the hell isn't this card a beast when the minion presented is obviously a moonkin?
Bad card normally, scary card now considering that Kael exists in standard. I can expect many degenerate combos existing thanks to this card now.
4 mana 2/2 is a tempo suicide... it "draws" 2 cards though..
This card depends on which combos we will see with those eclipse cards.
Weak stats but generates two good cards... It's not bad but I can't say it's very good either. Could go into many decks but hardly a staple in any. I mean you probably hade those spells in your deck anyway and how many do you really need?
Will depend entirely on how good the eclipses turn out to be. They both look reasonably useful, but you will have to find ways to abuse them for this card to be worth running.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Reasonably cheap and flexible - should open a new realm of wombo combo - my type of legendaries <3
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Lunar Eclipse and Solar Eclipse are both really good, but maybe not good enough to auto-include into any Druid deck. On the other hand, tossing one card in that generates the value of both Eclipse spells seems great as the 30th card in a lot of value-oriented Druid decks.
For everyone saying this is a “tempo loss”, it is, but compare it to casting Overgrowth ; at least you have 2/2 on the board and generate two Eclipse cards to help your comeback or swing turn following.
The Eclipse cards combo great with Druid’s current removal options to give them a better edge
Thanks for adding the cards to your response, weren't added in the main post.
It will enable some otk or some "horrible" combos, just want to see them
Eclipses are good spells, and druid doesn't care about playing understatted minions.
By The Holy Light!
is there any lore to this crazy owlbear? or is this a new character for the expansion?
There is bound to be some combo that utilises this card. It'll definitely be combo orientated, but I'd hold off on crafting this as it could just end up being rubbish
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Need a specific deck to be good... Too specific, so maybe good but only if that style of deck works out...

I feel like this card will see a lot of play as long as spell based druid combos are a thing, as this card can add two combo pieces without putting those cards specifically on decks, especially Solar Eclipse.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Im pretty sure the eclipses themselves are going to be run in many lists, so Kiri will almost definitely be played as well.
I would imagine it's a Druid in Moonkin form. But the character has no lore to my knowledge.
I forget Druids have a moonkin form. I just assume the Moonkin are always natural owlbears
I'm not sure why you would need to play this when you can play 2 of both eclipses, but I'm sensing an Elise druid deck will make a comeback before she rotates, where this might be an important combo piece.
I just love that Balance Druid is finally seeing some representation in this game.
i agree with what your saying but how would this be run in a druid dec
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Doesn't feel like a legendary minion. Kinda feel like something cooler could have happened for this.
"Some inspirational quote from some famous person" - Some famous person
pretty neat I guess but it feels lame for a legendary to just add two common spells to your hand
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
4 to get a pseudo draw of 2 spells.... I can see Guardian pushing this solely because it can drop mad spells fast. Other than that, the stats aren't that great and the board presence isn't fantastic
Most interesting Druid card, it will introduce a new archetype I think. Unsure if it will be good enough though for ladder.
Weak stats, but a lot of targeted value in one card. Malygos Druid will probably run this, but won't be a high tier deck.
It's an amazing card with low stats, sounds like more fun than it will be and probably a nightmare to play against
All hail the banshee queen.
I think Kiri, Chosen of Elune is too slow and perhaps overkill if you're already running both Eclipse spells. Druid can't really afford to play a 4 mana 2/2 in the early game when the early game is when they are the weakest.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Do we need a third copy of each? Why bother trying to "save a spot" by tossing in such a low stated minion?
If you're running the Eclipses, you're also running this, simple as that.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
This isn't a bad card, but I don't think it's effect is worthy of the legendary rarity of the card.
Those eclipse cards look pretty good. Mana discounts and double effects are nothing to sneeze at. This one will find a good home in many decks,
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Bad stats for its cost, and it gives you...two cards that you can just choose to run in your Druid deck without it. Thanks for the dust, I guess.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
It's a Boomkin, that alone makes it awesome
I just don't see why you play this instead of just having the Eclipses in your deck? Maybe to make sure you have them both in hand at the same time, I guess? Seems bad though.
