Tom Kench is OP!

His ability to eat a card every turn for just two mana is ridiculously overpowered. You can't play anything decent or he will just eat it. He should only have the ability to eat cards every turn after he levels up. Not before.
It doesn't matter that he takes damage from it if they have a million health buffing spells now to keep him alive.

Won't say Tahm Kench is Op but his ability is obnoxious at the very least.
His spell cost too few mana and can target Big units and other Champions.
As long Tahm Kench stays on the field, he creates a soft blocker to big units/champions as his opponent won't be able to play those cards until Tahm Kench is removed. And thats not easy task as Tahm Kench has a lot of HP.
I think he needs to be tunned down a bit or have his ability changed to be more interactive, but not sure how.

They need to make his spell cost like 4 mana and make it so before you level it can't eat champions.

Speaking of obnoxious overtuned cards...
who else thinks that a 3 mana units should not be kinda unkillable with damage (looking at you Soraka) i mean 3 mana 1/6 and she even heals herself back up as she attacks so that she has pseudo regeneration on a 3 mana 1/6 in a deck that wins through unit heal... i mean she eighter has to go to 4 mana or nerfed to a 1/4 statline.
That she is 3 mana just to create the dream curve of Crusty Codger-> Star Spring (which deserves a nerf to 3 or 4 mana aswell) -> Soraka ->Tahm Kench is very forced synergy. That level of forced synergy is... not an enrichment to the game imo.
While it the perfect curve is a dream scanario that often doesn't happen it is often hardly possible to beat Soraka as a tempo oriented deck, which needs to be adressed imo..
Soraka and Kench are vulnerable to board clears (e.g. Reckoning), and they have low attack, so e.g. fearsome can bypass them pretty easily.
Edit: just played nightfall aggro against Soraka/Kench. They curved out pretty much as you'd except. I won by t5 with an upgraded Nocturne. They couldn't block any of my fearsome guys and Diana took away a couple of their key cards. The deck is not broken. It is just strong against some archtypes.
Soraka is annoying too, but I honestly feel like Kench is just 100% broken. I have a deck with him in it and I just deleted it even though it worked well because I feel sick using him. Sometimes people just quite the second they see him come down. That's just dumb to have a champ that is so badly overpowered.

I honestly don’t think he is OP. He is incredibly obnoxious, but there are a wide variety of ways to beat him. He doesn’t have to much health, and he only works really well with Demacia so far. Outside of stopping heavy units from playing, he doesn’t really do much, and can’t make any real headway against an enemy nexus. These are my thoughts, I’d be curious to hear more if yours
There are currently a total of 3 boardwipes in the game that deal with soraka kench which are The Skies Descend The Ruination and Reckoning all of them are universal unit counters and deal with ANY units that do not have a form of recursion/spellshield on them so saying that they are "vulnerable" for them isn't saying anything.
The actual weakpoints that are Culling Strike and fearsome are quite polarising because there are many decks out there that do not care about culling strike at all, unless you play forstbite builds -> the old ashe noxus build and there are many decks that will crush your fearsome spiders with ease so...
My expectation is that we will end up with a meta where you get forced to play ashe noxus or the healing package. Yet i still wait for a cheesy Stargazer build to come up and annoy everyone...
I'd say it is quite signicant that the deck is weak to the Reckoning and generally weak to Nox/Freljord. That means that the deck has a hard counter, and Nox/Freljord can hold its own against a lot of other decks. Regarding Culling strike it could easily be a stable if Nox/Freljord with Ashe becomes a thing again.
I'd say Fearsome is in a pretty good spot this meta. I am not using the spider build but rather the Nightfall Diana/Nocturne build. There is a surprising amount of decks that use followers with 3 and 2 attac, and that means you can burst them like crazy. E.g. I played against a pirate deck and bursted them for 14 HP the turn I played Nocturne, I bursted Trundle/Asol for 18 or 20. And of course it is relevant to say a deck has a counter. If deck A is countered by deck B, and deck A becomes a meta deck, then deck B becomes a meta counter and can help you climb.
just tried a game with Tahm Kench against AI (to practice)
Quite3 shocked that instead to strike an enemy before swallow him, the two fought ... with the result tat Tahm Kench died
Is that the right behavior or a bug against AI?

There are like three very different versions of Noxus aggro with significantly higher win rates than any TK deck.
Swain-Twisted Fate has had a higher win rate than TK almost since the day LoR launched.
I'm not saying Tahm Kench isn't problematic, but it's because he's polarizing, not overpowered. There's a difference. He's literally impossible to beat if you're not playing the right deck, and very easy to beat if you are. There's almost no middle ground, which means games are decided more by the matchmaking system than by player skill.
Some archetypes, you mean any deck that isn't aggro or running culling strike, reckoning, and vengeance, right? Even then, successfully playing reckoning can be tricky if the TK is in play. Vengence is a 7 for 4 and they prob have a Bastion in hand you won't be able to bait out because any somewhat smart player would save it for TK. Good luck saving your units before he devours them. His ability is too cheap at 2 mana, period.
Acquired taste reads: "Tahm Kench swallows an enemy unit. It strikes him, then he Captures it." The enemy unit strikes him, then he swallows the enemy (if he survives).
He's still OP... People never use him unless they have a butt ton of health buffs in hand. So he's impossible to kill.

He's neither OP nor impossible to kill, just annoying to fight against.
Tahm Kench is not taking over the meta. He's the irritating uncle that most of the family doesn't really like, but just because he's annoying.
Word of advice - stop trying to kill him and just run him over. Tahm Kench's deck (yes, only one deck that he works in) has almost nothing in it with 3 strength or more, so you can smack him silly with Fearsome units. Kaboom! Fearsome units might as well be elusive against Tahm-raka, because almost nothing in the deck can block them.
