Another really good DH card, in my opinion! Playing this on turn 4 with Skull of Gul'dan on the left-most spot in your hand basically un-nerfs the card for turn 5, or gives you an option that can be immediately played from the right-most position if needed!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
The effect can stack like studies cards.

Incredible, since all cards that appear this way will have the outcast on.
Actually crazy. DH is going to need another nerf after this.
Outcast cards hmmm...The pool is pretty small at the moment, and on the relevant turns you get to play the card you discovered immediately for the effect. So cards like Star Student Stelina, Vilefiend Trainer, Illidari Felblade, or the infamous Glide can be obtained and played to fit the situation.
That said, the only reason why this card will see play is because if you're playing something thats not some form of tempo/aggro dhunter, this might be one of those cards that can really help get value, and on that department, dhunters need all the help they can get.

Seems REALLY good, and i'm pretty sure that you can immediatly outcast the discovered card. Also Illidari Studies can "unnerf" Skull of Gul'dan which is very strong. Also it's a 1 mana spell, so it will be generated a lot by cards like Wandmaker. Illidari Studies will see plenty of play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Great card, will definitely see play in some DH decks. The pool of outcast cards is very few at the moment, and you'd be more than happy to find more than half of them: Skull of Gul'dan, Eye Beam, Consume Magic, Crimson Sigil Runner, Dreadlord's Bite, and Spectral Sight will be incredible finds off Illidari Studies. Meanwhile, DH's other outcast cards that are never used might finally see play: Star Student Stelina and Glide will absolutely annoy some opponents when discovered and used against them.
Moreover, the outcast effect will be in play once you pick an option. One of the best cards in the mini-set, imo.
So clearly card generation is no longer a weakness for DH. Well, it's Illidan, he's inherently OP :)
I like this card, purely coz it's not very viable in aggro, more a midrange to control archetype where you looking for answers

It's cool that DH has a significant weakness ... like not being able to generate many cards ... while also discounting them ... and positioning them for full effect ...

I think this will be really good in arena at least, as the outcast pool is pretty small and discoveries are always good. I don't think it would be run in aggro demon hunter because you cant spend mana on not developing the board. Highlander demon hunter will like it for a second skulll tho.

Extremely good! Discover was one aspect that Demon Hunter lacked and this is giving a great option!
This will be a very powerful card. Not only does it disccover one of the core mechanics of the class, but it immediately enables it (the card will appear in the right hand outcast slot) and it discounts it. DH continually gets powerful cards.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
