May give Y'shaarj Druid the early game it needs to survive.
Y'Shaarj, the Defiler Druid needed this for early game, and with Overgrowth being a must-include i don't see why Dreaming Drake isn't a must-include in every Druid deck. Dreaming Drake seems like a solid minion and the fact that it has taunt makes it playable already on turn 3 thanks to those amazing premium stats. I personally already disliked Y'Shaarj, the Defiler Druid, and now it gets even more annoying.. :P
But personal bias aside, this card is nuts.
Looks like blizz want to push Y'shaarj with new corrupt cards.
I doubt that they design corrupt cards on future sets, so Y'Shaarj will just synergizes with a few cards of one expansion. Remember how limited Making Mummies was cuz this. That new corrupt cards were necessary.
For some reason I find it really weird that this is a dragon.
It powers up your Breath of Dreams, and absolutely devastating following up from Overgrowth on 4.
Outside of that, its solely reliant on that taunt factor, which cant be dismissed cheaply. As long as breath of dreams still exist, I'd say it merits inclusion. After that rotates, I'm not entirely sure anymore.
I do like the addition of new corruptible cards - think this can see play, stats are decent and can be play early enough
Nothing too exciting here, but a pretty valuable card overall. Synergizes with both Y'Shaarj and N'Zoth.
As stated above, works with overgrowth, breath of dreams, and Y'shraj. I don't see how this won't see play somewhere. Also is a slight nerf to New Ysera as well (though it does make taunts more common against aggro matchups).
So easy to drop this corrupted with Standard Druid. I would like to think that this could easily help Standard Druid show more aggro or mid-range vs the heavy hitter Guardian Druid.
This card alone makes me excited for clown druid
I like that there are new corrupt cards. I just hope that it makes the archetye playable. The new versions of the Old Gods just don't seem impactful on the meta.
