This kind of wipe is a lot better than it looks in first place. It kinda works like an Grasp of the Undying on aoe. The only thing about it that sucks is the mana cost... i mean 7? That is a lot to ask for...
yeah, but in LoR you can afford those costs on spells since spell mana exists, we saw similar cards see play before so the mana cost is justified, specially since it's a burst speed spell! we saw slow speed similar spells see play in freljord!
This look to me like better Withering Wail that can't be denied, at less than 7 mana this card would be insane.
I have to disagree: unlike withering wail this spell does not: A: break all barriers from the opponent's units and B hinder 1 health units from getting their damage through (if it should be more than 2). It kinda compares to withering wail, yet I can't say which one is better
How much damage is your opponent going to do once every single one of his 1 drops or even 2 drops units has -2? As for breaking barrier there is only one deck who is capable of giving every single one your unit's barrier and Fiora/Shen and they can't do it before mana 9. But the thing that makes it better in my opinion is the burst speed, playing this without having to worry about deny is such a relief.
This card is objectively better than Withering Wail as you can use it more often than Wail. The only times I think that it has a downside is when the enemies have one health or when you are fighting burn. This card hits more often as it deals 2 damage, causes the enemies to have -2 attack so even if they save the minion it's still going to be doing way less damage and blocking with minions also means it takes 2 less, and also it's burst speed so there's not a lot of good counterplay. Though this card isn't as good against a deck that's just Burn or uses a lot of direct damage like PnZ burn decks. The burn damage is consistent and healing 3 is often much better in those cases.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.
