Suddenly leaving beasts on board vs hunter is never a good thing.
We'll need to see the full set to really evaluate this card properly, but chances are good the sweet spots are 2 and 4 costed beasts, courtesy of stealth beasts like Stranglethorn Tiger and Jungle Panther.
leaving beasts on board ?
Rush is a mechanic, you know.
Firebat is such good people. I love that he doesn't mind cheesing it up for the game.
So, in order to profit with this card, the deck must be made in mostly deathrattles, spellburst, or frenzy beast minion (other than Battlecry) in order to avoid losing battlecries.
Good lord. I don't know if Hunter got enough beast for that.
Maybe will work out with more cards later on.
I assume this expansion will feature quite a few beasts.
We also still have old reliables like Stranglethorn Tiger and...hell...if it'S necessary I'll run River Croc, I don't care
Such a cute Tundra Rhino in the video.
It's unfortunate (or, perhaps, fortunate) that Tundra Rhino isn't in the 2021 Core Set, because that could set up some truly incredible/degenerate combos with this.
B E A S T S! It feels like you'll need to have plenty of Rush Beasts to really make use of Tavish, though. He may survive one turn to let any of your Beasts attack, but he's a priority target.
Also adds extra value to any beasts that were already on the board
Feels like a garbage card that depends on too many conditions to do anything.
yeah, such difficult conditions like....having a Beast with rush in hand, or even the dreaded...just having a minion on board.
Unless your deck isn't built in a way to support this (and given the amount of playable beasts that exist at this point) this will always be a huge upside, no matter if you end up pulling a 1-drop or a 5-drop.
Summon a beast from your deck that costs (1) or less. And yet, in the video, there was a Teacher's Pet summoned from the deck.
EDIT: Scrap that. I cant read. It says (1) less, not (1) or less.
that costs one less. he attacked with highmane so he got a 5 drop
* costs (1) less
(1) less than the beast that attacked. He attacked with a highmane (6) and summoned a teacher's pet (5)
I immediately thought of the new card Sunscale Raptor. That's probably why I was reading (1) or less. Silly me.
this guy --> unleash the beast (WILD ONLY)--> rhino (either one)--> mok'nathal lion --> zixor --> hench-clan hogsteed --> new boar --> snowflipper penguin (WILD ONLY) --> rank 1 legend B-)
Unfortunately the wyverns are 5-cost so the rhino won't be summoned, blizzard stole our perfect combo
no problem start with rhino. actually tundra rhino gives charge lmao so won't that just chain everything face down to penguin?
bah. rhino is rotating. RIP guess now we now why.
My favorite race (dwarf) for my favorite class (hunter) could not be happier.
If the next reward track offers this guy, I guess that Blizzard finaly found a way to open my wallet :)
Also the surname Stormpike seems to point at Alterac Valley for an expansion.
