Damn, first Riftcleaver and now this? Good to see that warlock is getting some good cards.
Although this will be tough to play on curve without the coin since warlock doesn't have a 1 mana lackey generator (yet). A 3 mana 7/7 (subtracting the lackey's stats) is still insanely strong.
This can fit in the current lackey zoolock. Nice.
And the token being a demon might be relevant some day.
Does anybody feel like Blizzard is trying to destroy Big Warlock decks and push Zoo? Warlock is and will always be my favourite class... And blizzard are ruining it... I hate zoo decks, they are soooooo lame. Anyone feeling the same?
If Team 5 pushes Zoo, how they destroy Big Warlock with it?
4 mana to summon 8/8 in stats, seems right in line with what warlock normally does.

Pretty sick card. I would imagine that Warlock probably needs 1 more Lackey generator for this to really be something.

Please not this again. I thought ppl on this website were better than on Hearthpwn as many ppl there are downvoting ppl that say its 8/8. In total u pay 4 mana and u get 9/9 minus the lackey u killed which ends up being 3/3+5/5= 8/8
This card is really crazy. Lackeys are so easy to get already, and you’re just cannibalizing a 1/1 whose main power is in its Battlecry. May not come out on turn 3, but can function as a crazy swing card/win-more on basically any turn.

In all seriousness, if zoo becomes what it was back in GvG (a deck that takes the board aggressively but doesn't just jam a million minions face) I'll be really happy.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

I think people are overrating this. In essence it's like a single-target Treespeaker, a card that doesn't really see play even in decks that consistently summon entire boards of treants. If you could reliably pull out a demon on turn 3/4 then this card would obviously be great, but I don't see that being very likely. Also, including this likely means cutting 1-drops which weakens the magic carpet engine.
I meant like warlock decks with big minions like was cubelock and control warlock... the standard control warlock is shit rn

In order to get a lackey in the first place you also have to spend mana...so calculation should be even more complicated: mana to play minion that creates a lackey (=2 mana) then play that lackey (=1 mana) then spend 3 mana to destroy it to get a 3-3 and a 5-5. So total mana spent = 2+1+3 = 6 mana and you get a 3-3, a 5-5 a 1-1 and a 2-2 if you destroy a minion or a 1-1. And you get the specific lackey bonus.
