It's a good 1 drop murloc with a nice simple deathrattle.

So what's the lore here? Is he the local crackhead that kidnaps children?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Just a solid unit to drop on turn one. If you aren't a full on control deck you might even just play this without murloc stuff going on. It is nothing insane by 1 drop standards but I'm not sure Shaman has a ton going on in the 1 drop slot either.

Amazing 1 drop for Murloc Shaman, and it summons Murloc Tinyfin after it dies. Automatic 5/5 stars for summoning one of the cutest minions in the game, AND being a good card.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

This basically has reborn. A 1 mana 1/3 is strong, this is better though since the damage has to come from two separate sources, which it probably would be anyway on turn 1, but this makes it much less convenient to remove later in the game.

Murmy is still ok in a dedicated Murloc deck that doesn't rely on cheating a bunch of fish on turn 5 with a certain dual-class abbess, so no doubt this will be a great card in every Murloc Shaman. Extra synergy with Lushwater Scout.

Even if Murloc Shaman somehow doesn't work, this will see play. It's so many stats for a 1-Drop; every aggressive Shaman deck will run it, whether they be Murloc or not.

Great Murloc card! They need to have sticky boards.
[Hearthstone Card (South Coast Chieftan) Not Found] is synergy enough to make this card see play. In many respects, it's better than [Hearthstone Card (Firefly) Not Found], and that saw tons of play.

The stats are good, the deathrattle is decent, and its a murloc.
Hell, this will be played even outside of a murloc deck. Straight up good 1 drop that needs reasons not to be included.

It's like Murmy but in better. Auto add in all murloc decks. It stand a murloc on the board to activate all the other murlocs effects. Really good card.

Small murloc with deathrattle of give a small murloc, at a small mana cost. Sounds like a solid murloc!

Card is bonkers strong in Murloc Shaman, enables a lot of the new Murloc synergy on-curve.
I'm going to say this is a very good 1-drop. Almost guaranteed to activate South Coast Chieftain if you play them on curve.
Quite a strong 1 drop, and since it's a Murloc it can be buffed as well
It's a good enough card to push a Murloc package into an aggro shaman. And while I believe aggro shaman will still prefer totems, they'll play Spawnpool Forager just as a one drop as they don't have that many of those.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

I've been here a while; just hanging out in the background.
I'm really surprised that this doesn't have overload. That's a lot of stuff to put in a 1-drop; its 2-health means it can survive two pings, and it leaves another 1/1 behind. Because of that added health it's a better Mecharoo, which saw a LOT of play back in the day.

I love this guy in murloc shaman. That will probably be my day one deck.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Really strong turn 1 play in Murloc Shaman especially considering the other cards we've seen. If the deck is good, this card will be one of the top performers in it.

Another shaman murloc. This one is pretty good. Reminiscent of Possessed Villager, but with better stats and tribal synergy. Me likey! Plus it doesn't hurt that this little guy is "totes adorbs".

This is probably the stickiest one-drop Shaman has ever seen that it will most likely see play across all aggressive Shaman strategies and not just Murloc Shaman.
