Meh not sure about this. Seems like a Silence priest kinda card, or just a card for arena.

this is amazing stats, but doubt its enough.
I mean, Soulbound Ashtongue saw play (and you were often dealt 4 damage), and this is just more impactfull.

I think overall the cons outweigh the pros and unless you can play this right on curve the extra stats won't be worth it. You could silence it or something, but at that point it is too much trouble to get a slightly better than average 4-drop.

5/7 for 4 is pretty insane, but I feel most cards that deal damage to you as a drawback are not that successful which gives the card a negative association.
Could actually make it in Deathrattle DH. They have lifesteal cards as well.
Good - for 4 mana have 5 attack. Nice in agro decks.
Can actually be good in aggro. A better Pit Lord, it didn't see play, but it was bound to a class that was already damaging itself.
Just run it with Silence effects or the forgotten Deathwarden and watch your opponents quake in fear of a fully operational 5/7 for 4 Mana! It's a pretty dangerous card to run in most decks, and I don't think it does enough to make up for the downside.

I really like this card. Its obviously meant for Death Speaker Blackthorn, but taking 5 damage each? Well, that's too much to ask in my book.
Unfortunately, with so few good deathrattles around, you'll likely see this in deathrattle dhunter, and little else other than arena. Outside of that, this is just hot trash.
Deathrattle demon hunter loves this others not so much. You don't care about your health with deathrattle dh so seems pretty strong.

In a silence priest you can add health to this then swap attack and health and go face for a big amount of damage

Reminiscent of Hench-Clan Shadequill, which wasn't really good enough to see much play. This is a little better in terms of pushing damage (since it won't remove its own damage), but it's still probably not good enough.

Stats very strong, downside is irrelevant since this will be in aggro decks.. cheese it out with deathrattle dh and you will have considerable board presence to push face
You only need 1 Health to win. Any more health is BM. That's why aggro won't care about the DR. And the stats are huge for the cost. The only reason I don't see this seeing play is that pure aggro decks will probably prefer to have Kazakus, Golem Shaper as their top end if they don't have any essential 4 drops.
Also, it's a decent payoff for DR DH. the DR is negligible for a class with so much Lifesteal.
Now, I'm not saying this is a great card. It's just not as horrible as some people think, as people tend to believe you need to silence this for it to be good.

I think it may see some light play, but I doubt it will become relevant in most cases.
I think the 5 damage will prove too much for play unless silence decks make a comeback.
Decent value for aggro decks, I would also consider using this in a silence priest deck, since it's not the end of the world if the effect goes off and it can only get better from there. I feel like Pit Lord is crying in a corner, though.
this doesn't seem fun. I'm sad because I don't like hitting myself and my opponent is sad because demon hunter is broken again.
Bittertide Hydra was great, and this can't be cheesed into losing. However, the attack is much less threatening.

Apparently you're supposed to use this in a Deathrattle Demon Hunter. That will most likely never happen and other than that it doesn't really have a place in Constructed.

I think you are going to want to silence this. Or maybe use Deathwarden, except if you have deathrattles you want to trigger.

This reminds me of Bittertide Hydra for having scary stats for the cost with taking damage as a downside. I see aggressive potential for Darkspear Berserker, but I also get the feeling that the stats don't matter as much in modern Hearthstone. If your aggressive deck doesn't run that many four drops, then I'd consider trying to fit in Kazakus, Golem Shaper over this. If there is ever a way to cheat Darkspear out (besides DH), then maybe it'll see play.
