I really like the early game stickiness of this for a nice midrange deck.
I think the divine shield buff is a great idea and makes for consideration with soft trades.
At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit.
Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.

Best 3-drop in the entire Arena pool, yet I don't envision this going into a constructed deck.

now this might be the best neutral card I've ever seen
Really annoying to deal with
aside from being god-tier in Arena, I could see this in buff decks. Opponents won't really target this unless they can wipe it in one go and if you bufff it in any way that becomes a lot harder to do.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I really think this is super cool. With this effect it's so hard to clear and worth the three mana.
This will see play will work great against aggro decks
Good for midrange decks, and because there are a lot of AOE things around it might be easy to trigger the Frenzy.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Pretty decent, could even be one of the few Frenzy cards for the Revival of frenzy minions in warrior.
Annoying if it manages to trigger. If it is played on 3 I feel like it usually will, a fair bit weaker after turn 3 though.

It's really good in the early-game, but in the late game a 3/3 Divine Shield would be better.

decent stats
Good arena card, but in constructed you just want a little bit more than a pile of stats for three mana.
3 mana 3/4 Divine Shield seems pretty good to me.
If the meta can somehow become more about curving out minions and using minion combat to control the board, this will be an all-star. Otherwise, it could be a nice 3-Drop for some decks that are lacking in quality 3-Drops.

great card for a lot of decks like aggro tempo even warrior could play this with the frenzy deck tehy want to build.
Hesitant 5 stars, it is a really good 3 drop no doubt but the frenzy potential remains to be seen

The neutral divine shields can be pretty powerful.

Really nice 3-drop! Played on curve, it's pretty likely to manage a trade, and that means 2 more potential trades.

Feels like pack filler to me, but that 4-health really makes it tough to kill so it'll probably gain divine shield often. Aggro and midrange decks could use this.
I think this is going to be more arena then constructed
Difficult to remove as seen in the livestream and quite sticky, but hard to see it fitting it anywhere in any constructed deck, not an "unfair" enough neutral with synergy with other pieces

Lol. The very point of a divine shield is to prevent attacks, and this one only comes out after one.
Theoretically played on curve its very difficult to deny this value, but spidertanks aren't exactly hard to get rid of nowadays.
I can't see this outside of arena. Had it been 2/5 then at very least there's something, but with only 4 health its not going to consistently trigger to ever be viable.
Can turn out to be unexpectedly good. Will depend on the meta how easily this can find those value trades that allow the effect to trigger. Should not be counted out immediately.

There's enough upside to this that it could see some play in a deck that wants to frenzy.
Probably the top 3 best frenzy card behind samouro and the warrior pirate that draws. We just need to find his place in one deck because like that i cant see wich archetype can use this.

Good target for buffs. Reminds me of Goody Two-Shields in some ways.
Might be useful in Zoo because it discourages <4 damage board clears.

Nice stat but the opponent will never let this minion alive. So Sunwell Initiate is great with broomstick or when we are in control of the board

Perhaps the one Frenzy card you don't want to immediatly trigger. You just leave it on the board standing there menacingly if the opponent can't deal 4 at once. That's why it's broken in arena.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

This could end up being a very frustrating card. It will be hard to trade one for one if it comes down on curve and then having to deal with a divine shield after that just makes it extra frustrating.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I think this card has very high potential, in arena it's absolutely busted.

I love the stat-line, and the fact that it should be able to get its frenzy effect more often than not. It's a pretty good early drop, but it's all about value, not aggro. I like it!

Seems like an arena card.
Makes it a bit trickier to trade into, but I don't see this being a powerhouse unless you plan on giving it Rush so you can force the Shield to pop up.

I like this card, very annoying to remove especially if dropped on curve.
The main issue with Sunwell Initiate is that an initial one mana discount on Silvermoon Guardian is worth triggering the frenzy effect. Also, I just don't see how this synergizes with any class except Paladin, and they already have Goody Two-Shields.
