Anyone else looking forward to Diablo II: Resurrected?

Just curious to see if anyone else is looking forward to this. Other than Hearthstone, Diablo II is the only game I ever played in my adult life - an impulse buy for the first pc I ever owned that turned into an addictive, immersive gameplay experience. I have a lot of good memories of triggering multiple corpse explosions with my bonemancer. I never buy games, but seriously contemplating picking up a copy of this when it comes out so I can relive those memories :)

I love Diablo 2 but i stopped looking forward to anythings Activision-Blizzard related a long time ago.

Ive watched some videos on the alpha build and aside from some of the interface looking bizarrely worse than the originals, it has largely been revamped graphically so its not going to be another reforged bs incident. There are some reports of bugs, but this is an alpha so I hope blizz retains enough of their honor to not screw this up on launch.

Im definitely looking forward to it, having spent many hours in the original d2. The worts and all remake is okay as a concept, but I really hope they add in a few surprises along, like better animations. One thing definitely on my wishlist is that they do something about the attack speed tied to no. of frames rubbish in the original d2 so when something reads 'faster attack speed' it actually means faster attack speed.

I was really looking forward to that game, as well as Diablo 4 (later this year? I can't remember when they said it would come out). But goddamn do I not want to pay them money right now. The kind of stuff they've been doing is sickening and I feel bad for everyone that had to put up with all that shit.

To be honest, I don't think the new Diablo installments will be any better than Diablo 2 Resurrected. That was probably the best part of that game. When I bought it from yes gamers store, I didn't even think I would like it that much. And now when I see news about new parts coming out, I don't think they're going to be very good.
