How do I post an Image?

As the title states, I don't know how to use the post image feature. Can someone please shine some light on this for me?

    To be more precise, the image must be hosted somewhere first.  In this case, I took a screenshot, edited in MS Paint, saved it, then uploaded it to imgur.

      Does this mean you have to have it uploaded somewhere on the internet first?  I've been trying to upload an image that I have stored locally for a week

        yeah, if I have the image saved on Google docs could it work? or does it have to be stored on the internet

        • Not sure about google docs, but imgur works.  It's quick easy and free (and there are memes) You paste in the 'direct link' from there.

          The ones below are an attempt at using google docs (photos, actually) by 'copy image address'.  Not sure if they actually are visible.

  • It has to be uploaded first somewhere yes.  Your google drive won't work as far as I know.  Luckily, imgur is quick and easy and doesn't even require you to have an account.

  • Using this thread as a test because google photos stopped working for me. Trying to get photos to work on this site again...

  • My apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but it seems adding an image to a post via imgur does not work anymore? Can anyone confirm?

    Edit: I right click on the image posted and open it on a new tab, that gives me a direct link

        You need to insert direct url, not gallery url. You can tell if its direct by the file extension at the end, for example .JPG .PNG etc.

          If only I figured this out sooner, I would have added direct images to all my HS legend decks in the past. I can still update them I guess, but I am not sure I want to do that retroactively 😅

  • I've had nothing but trouble with Imgur on mobile right from the start. FlickR is a nice alternative if someone needs one. You can upload 1.000 pictures for free there. 

  • Since this thread is here, might as well mention I've been using Postimg for a while now. Works pretty darn well.
