If Zoolock becomes a thing again (and it very well could) this will be a powerful card. But in the current control Warlock meta it's really hard to justify.
Would be amazing in Zoolock but that deck doesn't exist currently and I doubt two more Warlock cards will bring it back.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This could be good in the right deck, but Warlock isn't running that deck right now. I feel like if they want to ping for a card draw, there is a better option to draw one of your own cards than generate a random one.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
this has no place in standard but in wild cutelock could maybe use this, dont know if its any better than what the deck has already but the token generating nature of it makes it seem like it fits
Blood To Ichor and of course Mortal Coil are the first cards that come to mind. I think this is not as good as Mortal Coil, but certainly better than Blood To Ichor. Strong in Arena, won't see much play in constructed unless a Zoo deck suddenly pops up. As far as I know Warlock don't run Wandmaker so that is not a consideration either.
Arena > Wild > Standard
this is so bad it is a Wandmaker so good for them
I think that drawing a card with Mortal Coil will nearly always be better for this kind of effect, because non-zoo decks don't need a 2/2, and zoo decks really rely on getting ahead early and not losing steam, where this relies on trading or your opponent happening to play a 1-health minion to get value.

Mortal Coil thats better in zoolock. Outside of that i dont think it sees any play. Control warlock prefers card draw.
In wild i dont think Discard/Zoolock/Darkglare warlock want it. Not that familiar with those decks though, so i might be mistaken. (never see the whole deck considering their pretty good at killing me at/before turn 5...)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Mortal Coil that summons a 2/2 w/ effect. Warlock got a lot of good stuff this mini-set.

Better than Mortal Coil at the moment. Tamsin Roame already sees a fair amount of play and will be even better with this and the other new Shadow spell.

Probably worse than Mortal Coil in most cases.
I think this is actually good in a more aggressive warlock. A 1 mana 2/2 that kills something is real good. It's a shadow spell so you can double it with Tamsin. It's not going to build the archetype itself but it should definitely make a presence if a more zoo deck comes up.

Its never going to replace Mortal Coil and unless you get Shielded Minibot consistently this card will never be a thing.
