It's like a tiny Northshire Cleric. Adorable.
With the Dungeoneer, Priest now has legitimate card draw. C'thun Priest might no longer be just strictly horrible, even if the question of "what do I even beat with it" still remains.
Is there any other strategy that Priest needs card draw for?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
It's a pretty clean effect we've seen before with other conditions in Cleric of Scales, but this one comes with an un-hero-powerable body and an even easier condition. I think that this has a good shot at seeing play.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Incredible card. 100% must include in nearly every priest deck. Priest isn't that good at drawing cards and this helps a lot. Priest also loves healing because of Xyrella so that's not problem at all. [Hearthstone Card (Cleric of anshe) Not Found] might also help out tempo priest? But that deck has never took off, despite all the support so far.
Standard: Control Priest will 100% use it to tutor C'thun pieces before Tickatus blows up the deck, and maybe tempo priest uses it if that deck ever works.
Wild: Raza Priest might use it, because it's a cheap minion that has potential card draw attacked to it. Worst case scenario it's a 1 mana deal 2 dmg to the enemy hero. Luckely (ugh) Big priest won't use it because it messes up their ress pool.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This is very good and has a very easy to activate effect. This also pulls the spell from your deck, thinning it out for you to draw into the stuff you really want. This sees play.
Priest gets two spell tutors in the same mini-set and generally speaking this is the better one. But where Devout Dungeoneer can easily be played on turn 3, this is less of a curve minion. A preferably friendly character needs to be damaged first in order get what you want out of this card. However, I think the discover aspect is worth this downside.

Nice flexible card, easy to proc.

Nice card draw!
Card draw is always good and the discover is a nice touch. Takes a little set up though but that shouldn't be too tough later in the game.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
With a puny pre-requirement to discover a card off your deck, this card will see play until the end of its time.
5/5 stars
Given Priest's hero power, I can't see anybody having trouble activating this card.
Love this for Priest, the class doesn't have any good 1-drops right now, though you wouldn't necessarily play this on turn 1. It's Thrive in the Shadows with a conditional (but easy to meet) effect and a body attached, which is just better.
