New Priest Spell - Against All Odds

What a weird card. It's probably just worse than Shadow Word: Ruin (which sees very little play) or Condemn (Rank 1), but I guess Devout Dungeoneer has a big board clear to fetch. Seems a little too situational to put in your deck.

this one feels extremely difficult to rate, we'll just have to see if priest has enough even attack minions and there are enough odd attack ones elsewhere. hope you dont run into a mirror with this in your deck.

Pint-Size Potion + Shadow Word: Horror was a popular 2 card board clear and  Wave of Apathy +Against All Odds it's nearly the same.

Nowadays priest just have Soul Mirror as a Big board clear and that mes one looks sweet. Good card.

Well, with wave of Apathy, which you can pretty reliably generate throuugh discover and Wandmaker, this is a 6-mana boardwipe that might even be asymmetrical.

I'm not sure if Priest can afford to run 2-part removal combos, but one of thier only weaknesses thus far was not having unconditional boardwipes...well, I guess we're back to "the board stays empty until I say otherwise"

The Wave of Apathy combo has been pointed out, but I feel as though priests just have better tools available. Maybe if you specifically only run minions with even attack you can get a 1-sided board clear, but that just seems silly.

Great board clear. Really helps priest out, and a lot of minions these days have ODD attack. Kinda happy their bringing back the ODD stuff IN A BALANCED WAY. I love the name of Against All Odds as well. Against All Odds + Wave of Apathy seems also very good.

In standard i think it will certainly see play in Control Priest decks, because it's a very good clear.

In wild Raza Priest might experiment against it, considering there a lot of ODD decks out there. And minions in those ODD decks often have ODD-attack as well. Oh and (ugh) Big Priest might also use it... ugh..

Does CustomHearthstone design all of the cards now? This is such a weird card that screams out of ideas for new priest boardclears.

Funniest card of this mini-set as well as best artwork, but is it any good? If there is one thing I've learned throughout my years playing Hearthstone it's to never rule out board clears. Almost all of them have seen play In the past. This one will be tried out for sure, but I don't think it'll stay in any deck for long.

It's hard to get a read on how good this is. It's obviously great with Wave of Apathy, but is it strong enough on its own?

More destroy stuff for Priest. Seems interesting. It may see use.

This card really nails it on the foot. No one can or will play around it. And the fact that priest can board wipe regardless with the addition of Wave of Apathy, which is already a card we've seen included in the past, makes this all the more insane.

Well, I LOLed at the name. The question is, how many odd attack minions will your opponent have one the board, and how many of yours will dodge the spell?

Against All Odds will be best friends with Wave of Apathy, but the problem is would you run Wave in Priest decks nowadays? As someone in this thread already pointed out, Priest has some really good control tools already (Hysteria, Soul Mirror, Condemn (Rank 1), even Devouring Plague) that will make people hesitate to include this combo in their deck. You can always just generate Wave of Apathy from Wandmaker, but that's not a reliable strategy. 

Could still be useful even if it doesn't clear the whole board, though. Clearing at least three minions with this might make it good enough as a turn 5 clear.

I'll ask the question that's on everyone's minds. Will it queue up the Phil Collins song of the same name when played? If so, this is a 5 star card.  

Interesting. Priest has some good removals and this plus the Wave could add one more boardclear to that list. 

Not sure if you would run those 2 cards instead of other stuff but defenitely not as bad as it looks.
