New Rogue Weapon - Counterfeit Blade

Deathrattle Rogue Comeback .... maybe?

Good Card tough , hits for 8 Damage and get's a Deathrattle.

This card has potential, it's a well-statted weapon with a possibly great upside. I just don't see it getting a deckslot over other rogue weapons like Swinetusk Shank and Self-Sharpening Sword.

Shank and SSS have different purposes. They want to be buffed and hit the enemy in the face. [Hearthstone Card (Counterfeit Dagger) Not Found] aims for value.

It doesnt look all that good now, but no doubt further reveals will show why this card was printed at all.

On its own as a 4 drop weapon its fairly expensive as a value card but it still does hit face for 8 and that has got to count for something. The extra deathrattle value may be what really pushes this card over the edge as an excellent weapon.

It's not bad but I'll need to see the deathrattles first. If you don't get this on curve it just gets worse later on (unless we have some insane gamewinning deathrattle).

Also, I wonder how this works with certain deathrattles that work with minion stats (like Sergeant Sally)

Deathrattle Rogue has always been entertaining. I guess the hard part of it is needing to have a deathrattle trigger prior to equipping the weapon. Depending on your target effect this might end up being a card that you don't want on curve.

Necrium Blade was pretty balanced until it became almost broken thanks to Necrium Apothecary. [Hearthstone Card (Counterfeit Dagger) Not Found], since it only looks at Deathrattles already triggered when it enters play and can't trigger on the same turn (unless you spend more mana on a different weapon), looks like a much more healthy Necrium Blade. I really like the design, even if the big value deathrattles aren't on T4.

This random doesn't have to be all that random if you only run very specific deathrattles. On top of that, this is already a 4 mana 4/2. Good stats, good effect. I like this card. Maybe not a card that will see play in every deck, but I think it'll find a home somewhere.

Deathrattle rogue support again, but looks meh

4 mana 4/2 is already good enough stats for a weapon to be played. And the ability can be very powerful. The only downside is that I am not sure if deathrattle rogue is a real deck.

Keeping my eye on this one. Don't think it works out with Elwynn Boar, but it could still be a good value weapon.

Best synergy is with a card cheaper than this so it can be played on curve. Ticket Master works well, but not well enough to build a deck around.

This has a lot of fun things that could be tied to it.  Being able to repeat a Deathrattle that already triggered is pretty awesome

Pretty good, you could even play it with just the Prime, though that's just bad haha.

That card will not see play, but will remain sleeping until some crazy deathrattle will be added to Standard.

Nothing too crazy in the deathrattle pool currently but summoning an extra minion or drawing a card on play isn't bad. Could be interesting. Currently looking at using Infiltrator Lilian for fun and for that scream!

Really strong card alongside Infiltrator Lilian. Maybe Infiltrator Lilian + Counterfeit Blade becomes a good core for aggresive rogue decks? But it could also use some support, which it probably will get this set.

Counterfeit Blade has a lot of potential, and i think it will see plenty of play.

I guess Ticket Master would be good to copy the deathrattle of. I'm not sure what else. Hopefully more deathrattles you want to copy are revealed.

Indeed! I cannot wait to have a full picture of the set to know which Deathrattle would be good accomplices for such effect

Great but draws the 3 mana weapon too which makes it not as good in big decks.

This will be great for some memes on wild! Also has some potential in standar.

Great support card for Deathrattle Rogue, especially in Wild. Unfortunately, the archetype is not really competitive but enjoyable for the memes.

I think DR Rogue is missing minion pressure: what deathrattles are we playing? We've got a spell and a weapon and Ticketmaster. Let's get some more cards for this archetype. 

if you have only good DR can be a very good card

Quite an interesting design. More so in wild ofc due to the larger pool of deathrattle cards. You'd want a very specific deathrattle to be equipped to this weapon, like Kingsbane so this weapon will probably not see much play

Still feel like we are missing more choices of deathrattles for rogue to fully go deathrattle.

Wow, very strong if played on curve with the deathrattle discover spell on the previous turn

Looks like an interesting weapon, specially since it triggers the Deathrattle when played instead of when it's destroyed. Maybe can be used for some weird combos

Death's Bite was really good in Warrior, and this seems similar. Warrior obviously had synergies for that specific Deathrattle, but you get to curate what Deathrattle ends up on this with your deckbuilding so you can potentially end up with something even nuttier.
