I guess it's entire purpose is to mess with your opponent's mulligan choices?

I suppose it has some (brief) synergy with burgle cards in wild too, when they need you to hold cards from another class to activate them. That's not nothing if Underbelly Fence's battlecry goes off before you turn back into a rogue.

It all depends, do you start the game as the alt hero, or does it do it like the odd pally hero power and do it after?

True , if it shows your opponent you play Rogue but it changed because of Maestra it woul be kinda lame.

Don't think this is particularly strong, but man, do I love that they're willing to print such cards!

i wonder if neutral cards like Venomous Scorpid will discover cards from the class you are disguised as

Now on paper this is terrible design, effectively making you second guess every ladder game and then getting frustrated whenever you mulligan'd the wrong way. Also I wonder if she'll always choose the base hero or randomize skins (otherwise you can significantly narrow it down depending on your opponent's aestheetic choices).

Personally I still love this. It's just such a stupid gimmick, I can't be mad at it.

Also, expect a multitude of bugs. I heavily suspect this hasn't been playtested nearly enough to work consistently.

Weird card but okay...

Really throws a wrench into your opponent's mulligan choices if they see you as like a Priest or Warlock and likewise mulligan against control.

I have a feeling this would've been revealed in the final stream to surprise you. That would've been awesome.

Start of game effects happen after the mulligan, so it wouldn't serve its primary function since the opponent would know you're a rogue from the start.

Cool design, you can alter the mulligan picks of tour opponent.

They could've finally given Rogue a useful legendary but this is just a wast of a legendary slot and of course the card is fine but it could've been so much more 

I'm really and I mean I'm really disappointed in the Rogue cards these last two expansions

How important is it to mess with your opponent's mulligan phase? What deck will this be in that you hope they mulligan for a different kind of deck? Is it worth it to try and draw out the facade until you can possibly use the hero power? I'm just not sure I see where this card makes much sense.

Since the card states that you start as a different class it would discover those class' cards. It's just like the Hero cards, once you become those heroes you are that class, even if you discovered it as a Rogue. The only way I can affirm this is when you play Tess Greymane as a hero from another class as it plays all the class cards from that class' cards you played that game.

Really interesting and unique card. Would love to give this a try and see how it works.

5/5 I would have liked that on battlecry you got a random card from the class you had become, to at least give some value.

That's a good point. I would like it at it's cost and if it's the first Rogue card played discover a card from the impersonation's class. That would make the card better and still not that good. Not enough room to print it unless they made a keyword though.

Yeah, it's bad. Tragically bad. Cute as hell but pretty much does nothing. Most decks look for the same things to mulligan and play the same early game every time anyway.

Craziest card of the set, for sure. Not sure how viable it's going to be (it'll probably be nothing more than a meme), but it'll be hilarious to bamboozle your opponents into thinking you're another class. 

It wouldn't be long before everyone figures out how to play around the possible rogue strats with this card. Its primary function now would be to fake out your opponent into making a wrong mulligan choice. But honestly, rogue can rarely ever take advantage of it. Unless its literally big minion meta, there's just no way people don't just mull for their early cards against any class in general.

Fun, but you're giving up a card slot for that fun. Would it be worth it? Initially yes, but gradually I suspect this is just never a real option.

Kibler faced it in the theorycrafting stream and it was really funny.

Opponent was a warlock, so he mulliganed against warlock. 

And no, after first card played he saw that he is rogue.

This card is absolutely crazy, RIP the MT qualifier admin. "He queued his banned deck, so I get a game win." "Actually, I queued rogue, so your concede means I get the game win!"

Seems fun. Probably next to useless competitively, but fun.

In wild most classes are aggro but if you turn into a priest this is great to mess with the mulligan.

Just plain fun! Also it really ruins mullingans.

This might be the most fun card of the expansion. 

I love the theme, the design, the name, the flavor - pretty much everything, except the art, which I just don't mind, but not quite like. Not that it is bad on its own, but it seems like such a grim realistic render, when compare to the usual whimsical HS world - my two cents

Love this card. Rogue gets another unique ability to play the game. Doubt it will be competitive though.

Looks super fun, hence my 5 stars. But it probably doesn't actually win games. Sadge. 

Cool flavorful meme card for Rogue, just like Yoink! is. Will be fun to play in the first couple weeks of the expansion but only if I get it in my packs

MY DREAM CARD. Now i can finally enact my dream of playing burgle rogue AND starting out as a different class! If i dont get Maestra of the Masquerade out of packs, i might just craft it and insta-include it in any rogue deck. Even if it lowers winrate. I have been waiting such a long time for a card with this effect! :D

Maestra of the Masquerade can really mess with your opponents mulligan, especially if you hardly play anything in the first few turns. (Just look as Regis "HE'S A ROGUE!?!" in his Sword of a Thousand Truths hunter theorycraft video.) Not only does it mess with mulligans, BUT you can also use the other hero power! (Again in regis video the rogue actually got 2 armor from the Warrior hero power) If you roll DH you can get some early damage in, and act like your actually a DH. Sometimes a perfect disquise can REALLY catch your opponent off-guard. I really like this card, reminds me off al the time i played Spy in TF2. never got that good at spy, but it was a ton of fun during the rare trickstabs.)

what's the point to start with a different hero?

I mean I love it. It's not actually very good, but I want to see what silly interactions it enables. One of those effects that you just want to see in the game as a custom designer.
