Meh .... filler Card.
Probably a filler card as there aren't many insane Mech cards. The mana reduction is okay and makes this a 1 mana 1/2 Discover a card and that's value.
Most of the "Studies" cards have seen play and have been pretty good, so this should too. It's not as mana-efficient, but you get a small body.
I'm not sure what you are trying to grab off this guy. Maybe get a corrupt minion to reduce it's cost for an easier time? This will probably be better in wild where you can try to find magnetic or other stronger mechs.
This can be a genuine lol moment because in the pool there's literally Clockwork Giant, Explosive Sheep and Darkmoon Dirigible.
I wouldn't say this is trash. The pool is so small there's just a decent chance to get what you want. Even the most useless Annoy-o-Tron can truly be god like in the right circumstances.
Maybe in rogue? I kinda like it to be honest.
What mechs do we even want to discover? Just bad
Without having done my homework on what mechs are currently in standard, I don't see this being very impactful. Seems like some filler material.

Lol, think this guy got released in the wrong expansion 🤣😜 Boomsday Project was 3 years ago! Super random discover effect with no correlation to the expansion's theme. If we could've discovered a tradable card, that would've been neat
The golden age of mech is long gone - I'm not even sure what I'd want to discover, let alone take a deck slot for it
Clockwork banana rogue getting more clockwork giants this card is clearly the best.
Darkmoon Tonk, Claw Machine, Carousel Gryphon, Darkmoon Dirigible, and Efficient Octo-bot are all good to great Arena cards and Deeprun Engineer has a pretty good chance of discovering one of them. I think that will make this card a solid Arena card as well. Outside of Arena though, this has no chance of ever getting played.
The inclusion of this card in the set tells me that they setting up for a mech expansion in the near future. All sets from next year have already been decided so it's very likely this is an early setup for the next year. Right now, this obviously isn't a viable card but in a mech expansion this becomes very strong. It's a discover with a built-in mana discount. This is never a bad thing. So, i believe this is here as a hint for what to expect next year.

Guess it'll be okay in Wild, for some decks that run Mechs. I don't see how useful this could be, though
Straight up Arena and maybe Duels card. It's not even a Mech itself so why would you run it in a Mech deck, the only deck that would want to run it?
