Competition Theme: Welcome Back Party
We're starting the Season off with a party, so bring your best drinks!
- You must create a card which is themed around the WoW event, Brewfest
- Minions, spells, weapons - anything can join this party, so long as they get in the spirits!
To start us off, Arkasaur is looking to get festive. Eat, drink and be merry - and make sure your entry does too!
As always, I can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

Welcome to the site!
How about some weaponized drunken-master shenanigans? Monk ain't a class, so I had to make do:
Could allow you to double-up on your attacks to the enemy's face, clear the board with some drunken in-fighting, or it could all backfire spectacularly!
It's been a while, I'm a little rusty.
New season!!!
Nothing like a little alcohol to let your guard down and pick the best of fights!
Yay, Season 4 :)))
I've tried to do something traditional:
Edit: This card is obviously a bad idea because only Ogres get the 50% wrong enemy effect. I'll try to come up with another ability.
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

You create the spell from the same ingredients as if you played Kazakus.
"Truth is in the shadows, waiting to be revealed by the light. But light only disperses the shadow." - Me

Ah aged to perfection! Basically an elemental that gets bigger and more wordy as time goes as giving the feeling of aging a perfect brew. Also hey whaddup I'm back with more bad cards. Why'd I use TGT? because uh they had beer there I think.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I've had a busy past few days, so I don't have a card with me right now, but what I CAN do it provide feedback.
The card seems to be missing a rarity. I assume it's intended to be Legendary since summoning permanents on the board is an effect that seems to be relegated to Legendaries and the permanent has the dragon border on it.
I do see a problem with the card being Druid since they can ramp into this pretty easily and as soon as it's been on the board for a few turns, you can very easily stall your opponent out.
My card is meh, but I hope my feedback wil help anyone.
Feels weird that this is a warlock card; drunken fights are more of a warrior thing.
Your face is already dead
Just one question about the Flavour of the Brewfest !
The Flavour should be something for a Party (like getting or giving Gifts and Drinks) , getting Drunk (starting fights or do something stupid) etc ?
is that correct? just wanted to know before i try to make a card :)

Yeah that's about right. Brewfest's real-world equivalent is Oktoberfest, the annual German folk festival. People associate with it drinking, eating, drinking, dressing up all folksy, and drinking.
Just changed the emblem to DMF to fit with the Fizzy Elemental anyhows feedback.
On another note I kind of wanted to make Theotar since he loves brewfest but there's not really decent art for him as a card
Linkblade: I think it's good has nice flavor however I would never use it since every minion would attack my face
Shaveyou: I like it solid usable card that gives the feeling of the card that gets drawn is walking into a nice cheery bar.
Grumpymonk: I do think warrior would be more fitting also the naming is a bit weird IMO since chug and chuck in WoW invovles well chucking test brews
anchorm4n: Clean and simple looks good
Neoguli: simple little person who dances around the bar mixing drinks as they go clean simple good.
Lundy: I would say pricy and bad but it's drood and infinite 5/5's with taunt so maybe actually OP
R I like it but it does scare me since it's summon instead of play so certain cards could make it go monkey and refill constant mana piles
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Finally got a card.
He's rough. He's rowdy. He's also super super tipsy and can barely stand up straight.
Was thinking around the idea that everyone is having a great time slamming back brews but next day, all hell will break loose. A full board buff for both you and your opponent that pays dividends for both players. If the Warlock isn't finishing them this turn, your opponent gets to take advantage of the buffs. Then the party comes to a crash the next turn when everyone realizes the party is over and now have to deal with the hangover.
Here is my first idea:
Also thought about making the attack random enemies into random characters?? And also not sure about the Mana Cost - had it at 5 first but that seemed a little to cheap for the effect.

I'm a bit late this week, but I hope this helps:
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Updated idea:
Cutting back on the total randomness and "ALL-ness" of the card. Now it's only your minions that go wild on the Brew, which could lead to board-clearing or a double-up on the enemy's face (hence the Cost-increase). Might need to cost 8.
To go along with that, here's some (late) feedback:
FieselFitz - At 6-mana the comparison to Level Up! is inevitable. In exchange for Taunt they attack immediately (possibly dealing face damage), and you have Tradeable to throw Cheers! away if you don't need it (whereas Level Up! can often be a dead card in your hand). Even if you allow for Power Creep of a mostly-bad card, at their core they are super-similar, which is a bit of a problem.
Cg8889 - This card is amusing, but it would honestly never work out in practice: the Warlock would use the card as a cheap Bloodlust-esque finisher, defeating the point of the second part. Anything else would risk needless retaliation.
Demonxz95 - Seems fine, but easily gameable. Target the "wrong" enemy so he redirects to the one you want, plus he *will* 100% target the correct enemy if their board is empty and you go face. Is all of this worth +1 Attack over vanilla? Certainly not to include in your deck, which begs the question of whether or not people will vote for amusing "pack-filler".
MenacingBagel - "(Wherever this is)" is supposed to be in italics, but that's not a big deal. I think random-keywords is scary, since there are only so many keywords that don't require a descriptor. At the end of the day you're just about always creating a Neutral, cheaper, better-statted Al'Akir the Windlord. That's cool, but also quite strong.
R - I wouldn't say Stunning Waitress is "meh", because she is very strong. Token decks in particular would love the ability to refresh Mana after each summon, multi-proccing the effect for big returns. For this competition it's quite original in that it doesn't involve drunkenness, so that's also a plus. Is she too good? Probably, but I would await more feedback to be sure.
Lundy - You forgot to give your card a rarity gem, and by extension a watermark. Anyway, "end of each turn" seems quite good for a permanent effect that cannot be removed; I know it's 10-mana, and that's asking a lot, but the 5/5s will add up. If Brew of the Month Club is not a Legendary, you could cast it twice to really stonewall your opponent, and Sheldras Moontree can even cheat them out. I think it's cool, but the permanence is scary.
Neoguli - Pretty neat: for 1-mana you're drawing a card and crafting a custom 1-Mana spell. The problem, however, is that unless you're desperate for board presence there's no reason to ever play him as-is. Every-other Tradeable minion does something when you play them or at least provides something like Spell Damage or Taunt. The Bartender is just a 2/2/3.
grumpymonk - With the orc being the "main character" of the art, and the general "getting drunk and angry" flavor, it seems more like a Warrior card; isn't he attacking the imps? Not that it can't be a Warlock card: I honestly think it stands out more that way.
shaveyou - I like it: I don't have much in the way of notes. Good art, the Patron effect makes sense, and it's a solid card overall.
We've got less than 24 hours left to submit. Not that many entries. I changed the artwork of my card to try to get a stronger association of thematics and mechanics. I already submitted it since there's not that much time left and feedback has been going pretty slowly.
Some late feedback, and I'm sorry I didn't do this sooner.
Unfortunately, I do believe the card is a bit dangerous as it basically can give all your Silver Hand Recruits a pseudo-Windfury that's open to attack face. If you've done a relatively decent job at clearing the job, then you can rack up a lot of face damage with the card that Paladins typically don't have access to.
I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I do think it's a bit strange (although admittedly flavorful) that it also effects enemy Silver Hand Recruits.
Okay I don’t normally comment on these competitions but I liked the previous card art more. If anything this guy is more of a goblin than an ogre :
This ain't no place for a hero
Ooops, I arrived late to the party :( Next week, I guess.
Good luck, everyone!
Yeah we kinda came out of nowhere with the Season's start: I'm not surprised some members missed the window :(
That being said I will also say good luck to everyone :)
Nothing like starting off the Season with another tie lol. Congratulations to Neoguli and MathU!
I'm sort of speechless to be frank. I did not expect to win or even tie for 1st. 😂
