Competition Theme: Two Quests With One Stone
It's time to band together to try and complete more Questlines together!
- You must create a dual-class card that helps complete both Questlines for its classes
- That's the Questlines from United in Stormwind, not any of the other Quests classes have had
ChickyChick is after some inter-class cooperation this week, so make sure your card is versatile enough for the job.
As always, I can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

Welcome to the site!
Probably too simple, right?
First idea.
I'm unsure if the connection is strong enough if that makes sense. That's just sort of an inherent problem with some classes in this comp.
I wanted to use Arcane Cannon's old art now that it's been "retired" from Battlegrounds. I'm worried it's too good for the Warrior while being weird for the Mage, even if you consider a hypothetical Pirate expansion (hence the shark watermark).
Edit: Another card. With Xavius on the table, succumb to the nightmare and embrace your rage! Assuming you use the Attack to go face, Xavius' effect is ultimately neutral; however, given the Druid's Armor gain and the health restoration of the Warlock, you can get ahead of your opponent's life total and then go for broke. Might drop it to 2 damage/Attack, 'cause a board clear could end the game very quickly lol
So Demon kinda put out an open challenge for a Pally/Priest card on Discord, and here's my response to that:
Or a card for the two brothers:
Feedback:
Wailor: Really cool design and very flavorful, I like it!
Demonxz95: Looks good, but it can get really low with the cost, it being almost guaranteed 0-mana in Hunter after a point. Either nerf the damange and adjust the cost, or make it only target minions.
linkblade91: Arcane Barrage will only deal 2 or 3 damage usually, and it doesn't really justify Pirate Mage. Xavious is a lot better, I quite like it!
Something to complete both DH and Mage Questlines. The effect also has relations to both classes - Mage has Polymorph-eqsue effects, while this one transforming into a Demon gives DH something to play with. Both classes also care about card draw - one to complete the quest, the other to dig for Ignite and such.
"Truth is in the shadows, waiting to be revealed by the light. But light only disperses the shadow." - Me
"If other people shared traits of those considered naive, the world would've become a better place." - Also me
How about something really different: a dual-class weapon for classes that don't normally have weapons! Mechanically speaking, a weapon with >0 Attack should count for both Questlines, as you gain Attack for the Druid and can hit minions with your face as the Warlock. Flavor-wise, the Druid + the Warlock = The Emerald Nightmare, the corrupting influence on Ysera's Dream world. As you succumb to the Nightmare and the pain, you grow stronger and/or lash out in fear and panic, leading to the increase in Attack. This plays a little game with your opponent, as they figure out how best to defeat you without the weapon growing out of control.
Feedback:
Neoguli - If you're looking to transform an enemy minion into something small, this is strictly better than the Polymorph: Boar of old. It's still arguably better even for your own minion, as you get to Discover for maximum flexibility (not to mention the card draw). Not saying this is bad - we've come a long way from that card - but something to consider.
Nirast - "Cost" should be capitalized in Deliverer's text. I would also consider a better name. That said, I think Strength or Wisdom has solid flavor and is pretty straight-forward in satisfying both conditions. A little on-the-nose, though. I'd go with that one.
Demonxz95 - I love it. Hero Power Mage is fun, and so can Hero Power Hunter. There is an inherent question of whether or not Questline Mage would use this card, since they don't care about their Hero Power, but no one technically said such a card has to be good in the Questline deck lol. All-in-all, one of my favorites so far.
Wailor - I feel it's too simple, yes, to answer your question. It's just +1 Attack over Argent Squire; or, in another sense, you're trading opponent damage for self-damage to gain the Divine Shield, if we're comparing to Leper Gnome. Maybe simpler is better, though; very possibly I'm trying too hard with my ideas.
Very tricky prompt this week, for some combinations it's quite the thought exercise.
Here's my idea, a very simple combination of Hunter and Shaman. A versatile removal spell, with the possibility of gaining Overload depending on the level you pick. In terms of function, you have a Discover style interface with all three options, then you target the minion you want to kill. I'm also particularly pleased with how the art matches the colours of the card border.
Charged Shot Options
The idea is that you benefit more if the enemy plays it since you get to either play more SI:7 cards for Rogue quest, or higher cost cards for your Priest quest. The stat and cost increase would increase permanently and create new card, like how Horrendous Growth and Rattlegore work.
I already submitted because I won't have much time this week, but I wanted to give some quick feedback:
What doesn't make much sense is the flavor for Mage. Maybe if you use it a magical fire arrow and call it Searing Shot? Dunno, maybe I'm just nitpicking. The art is very cool despite not fitting Mage, though.
Here's my card. My main objective was to use two class-exclusive mechanics while subtly including both Questline requirements. I think I did a pretty good job, but would like to hear your opinions.
The only thing I'm not sure about yet is whether it should also hit the enemy hero, so I might change that before submitting.
I like the Scythe best, but I'm not sure whether it counts for Druid Questline and neither classes use weapons. Because (self)buffing weapons is more a Rogue thing, it should probably be a SI:7-weapon and for balance the effect should only trigger during your turn/while attacking.
Strength or Power is great. It uses mechanics unique to both classes. In the right situation, both classes could still consider using the other choice. Worried about Chaos Strike and balance though.
Good luck to the other finalists :)
Six cards were 1-mana: half were Paladin, so those makes sense, but the others were not so that's interesting. Demon is the odd one out with his high-cost card.
Congratulations to Nirast! First time, IIRC :D
Congrats to Nirast!
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Thank you both! Yes, this is indeed the first time I won, though I was extremely close once before. Really happy with it!
