If school-less doesn't count as a school, this is probably a pretty bad card. It might slot in to the Quest Mage build that already runs a few minions, but no other deck can consistently play 2 or more spell schools by the midgame.
Probably bad and just filler. Mage makes the most use of this with 3 spell schools, but it's very conditional that you've played previous card to be any good. Would be playable if it was "Draw a card. Repeat for each spell school you've played this game."
Ironically enough the one class that could use this the most (MAge) doesn't need it whatsoever.
Technically it could be interesting in Secret Hunter seeing how Explosive Trap and Freezing Trap have spell schools, but you'd need at least one more spell school for this to be worth the effort.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Well looks like a Sorcerer's Gambit deck that actually uses minions might have a chance now. And maybe Burgle Rogue and Casino Mage can use it in wild. Oh and maybe Secret Hunter as well.
Seems solid in certain decks.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
A card that comes with conditions, without vanilla stats, and its conditions are atrocious. Draw cards need to be ready to go most of the time, unless you lose no tempo from playing it, and that's clearly not the case here.
Best thing this card can fit into is a mage that actually plays minions, like ping mage, because mage has spell tutor cards and you only ever need this to draw 2 to justify its existence.
But there's always a chance that some point we get more spell schools or an omni-typing for spells like amalgams, so this card isn't 100% dead yet.
So, how to pull off draw 5 with this? I tried with Bolnar double Battlecry, and it doesn't work.
Knowledge is Power
Most classes only have spells from 2 schools. It doesn't look like a very good curve card, but maybe a 4 mana 4/3 draw 2 cards is good. Mage could draw 3 with this, but I don't see this replacing Refreshing Spring Water.
