Even ignoring the viability of any upcoming frost spells, this is just a generally good effect. Discount it with Granite Forgeborn, repeat it with Brilliant Macaw and just generally have a good time. 3/4s are pretty sweet, freeze is just a bonus.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

ehhhh...  in a class that benefits from Nature spells more than a Frost spells, this is mediocre at best.  Unless we can start seeing more playable Frost spells, this is a waste of a Legendary

Bearon Gla'shear has a lot of potential and support. You can discount it with that one elemental from stormwind, and Brilliant Macaw can repeat the battlecry. The one problem is that freeze shaman currently has a INCREDIBLE 0 frost spells in standard! Absolutely incredible. And if you look at the frost spells in Wild, then you only have 2 good frost spells: Invocation of Frost and Ice Fishing. One is good in Galakrond Shaman, the other is just used as a 1 off in order to draw your poisonous board clear. What? Frost Shock? Why run 1 damage freeze a minion? thats so bad.

Bearon Gla'shear NEEDS frost spells, and not just frost spells. It needs GOOD frost spells, and i'm looking forward to seeing if it actually gets the support it needs, or if it's Moorabi 2.0. Also speaking about Moorabi, i hope he gets into next years core set. Imagine copying quest rewards LOL. Moorabi meta incoming if he is in the core set lmao.

Also i love the name. "Baeron" as in bear and baron, and "Gla'shear" as in Glacier.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Arena: Trash unless you have already drafted a couple frost spells.

Constructed: Probably garbage, but as of now it's too soon to tell. If I'm opening this in a pack I'm still going to try this in Wild alongside Moorabi. It'll probably suck, but that won't stop me.

    Arena > Wild > Standard

The first signs for Freeze Shaman don't see very good, and this isn't enough pay-offs. Not quite as trash as Moorabi, but that's like saying you're not quite as bad a person as Bobby Kotick.

Doesn't seem that good or that it'll make Freeze Shaman viable. It's an Elemental for the other Shaman synergies I'm sure, but could also pass for a Beast imo.

Its very similar to Kargal Battlescar, in that it will summon out a load of stats and is supposedly a finisher.

But like the aforementioned card, it'll likely not see much viability. It'll be played, at very least, courtesy of it being an elemental, but as far whether it'll be successful, I doubt it. Elemental shaman has already demonstrated its ability to finish off games without something like this, and control shaman can go multiple ways, from ysharaaj to Bolner. This card would have been decent had the tokens have rush, but as it stands, its a finisher that'll likely do very little finishing.

Of course, with more frost spells unveiled, I very much am liable to eat my words because being able to fill the board with 3/4s isn't a small thing. We'll see.

Barorso Gla'cius! Definitely going to need a lot of help from new Shaman spells to see any play, but if they're good enough then this becomes a decent way to capitalize on already good cards. Similaryl to Kargal Battlescar, it's going to need its synergistic cards to be very powerful to justify being put in a deck.

Are we going to see the mythical freeze Shaman I keep hearing about? So far there's just one frost spell revealed for Shaman.

How good this is will depend a lot on how many good Frost spells Shaman gets, but I doubt you'd need to play more than two Frost spells in a game before this is worth the cost, and if you can get to four this would be very powerful.

We only have the one frost spell in standard atm (Snowball Fight! at the time of writing) so we'd need to see many more frost spells if Bearon will be any good.

If you manage to summon 5 tokens and an Animated Broomstick your opponent will not have a very good time.

PD: Love the name word play

Seems decent enough.  Having multiple viable archetypes is what the game needs.  Not pigeonholed spoonfed stuff every expansion.

It feels ok, especially than some of those frost spells will be ok in just elemental deck with slight changes. Summoning 2 3/4s can be ok value for 7 mana and anything above will be just kind of free benefit but the deck will need to presure the opponent from turn 1-2 for this 7 mana play to be enough. And freeze mechanic is kind of designed to play from behind...

Board-in-a-card types are generally pretty strong, frost spells like Windchill seem much better than watch posts, this could be the thing that makes a frost-focused archetype Tier 2-3 in Standard.

Seeing the card now in the light of the full expansion, they actually did print a decent number of frost spells to support this card. It looks like freeze Shaman at least has enough cards to make it a thing. The real test remains to see if those cards are good enough.

Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.

One Frost spell makes it decent enough, and everything else on top of that is pretty good! This is the kind of support that Freeze Shaman needed when they were first testing it out.

    Welcome to the site!

Seems decent. Freeze Shaman might finally be a viable archetype. I will experiment with this if I open it in my packs.

The usefulness of this card depends on frost Shaman finally becoming a thing or not. It could be great, but as it stands I don't see it being of much use.
