Big spell tiger paladin maybe...?
King Phaoris is gonna be a lot of fun in a big spell mage and Res Priest. You really only need one or two big spells in hand to make this well worth the cost.
Ok now please make a 12 mana 3/3 and we’re good to go.
Looks like a card to make random 10 drops worse, the card itself is not that impressive it's very random and very hard to play.
When reading the card I thought it was just a worse Astromancer, didn't realize it summons multiple minions. Seems pretty strong then for gaining board control in the late game in a control mirror. Not gonna be so effective against aggro because of the cost and also because you have probably already used up that Flamestrike and Blizzard just to survive.
I can only think one thing.. Conjuring your seagiant if you want to play russian roulette.
On one end a 10/10 divine shield reborn
On the other a 5/5
i think they thought about it and launch this one to balance things out
For 10 mana it s bad. I know, very strong effect in the right deck, but it s random minions and possible be very bad. But with Jepetto, or lens it s so strong. Can be used in Shaman too, coz he has a lot of surviving tools, but loosing in value vs War. This can outvalued any control war, remember Shaderwock and Hagatha with a lot of spells in hand
this fits very good in decks like bigspell mage BUT i dont think that it will be a super big game changer since bigspell mage already has alot of "big minion swing turn" cards and you need to take of of them out for this one. I think the other ones are more consistent than this, because you could have to use all your spells to keep yourself alive vs aggro, but it should give you more tempo vs control decks
I'm looking forward to putting this into my Big Spell Mage deck, should be fun
You'd have to play him in a deck that incidentally makes a ton of spells that end up rotting in your hand. New quest mage or a shaman deck with Hagatha come to mind.
What about Shaman? You can flood the board with that because you'll definitely have spells in your hand from Hagatha the Witch. You'll also be able to replay that with Shudderwock. The downside of that is that you'll be most likely to kill some of the summoned minions because of the replayed Battlecry from Hagatha the Witch.
This also supports the Mage quest.
Can this work in paladin? If you draw it by Jepetto Joybuzz or Prismatic Lens, it can be awesome. I can't think of any other discounts right now. At least in standard. Or, the treasure from Heistbaron Togwaggle? Wondrous Wand
Prismatic Lens is a very good idea. Ordinarily, low-cost spells are better with PL, but in this case, any spell is going to be less than 10 mana, and then whichever spell it hits becomes 10 mana, meaning when you play Phaoris you summon a 10-mana minion.
I hope you are correct, that would be awesome! However, sometimes the mana-cost referrence counts with the original mana cost. For instance, Skulking Geist will destroy 5 mana spell that was originally 1 mana spell (lets say your Prismatic Lens will pull Getaway Kodo and changes the cost to 5). That one gets geisted, if i remember correctly. If you pull Arcane Intellect from Primordial Glyph, then it does not get geisted. Don't ask me why, that is just how I remember it.
Day one craft for sure, sick card!
upgraded [Hearthstone Card (Spiteful Summoner) Not Found] .
That is one hell of a legendary. I dont think it would fit into Spiteful Decks, cause there usually isnt that many spells, tho i suppose two 10 cost minions would be enough value. More like a Big Spell Mage or maybe some kind of Paladin deck in wild with Dinosize and Steed and stuff like that. The new Pharaoh's Blessing would fit in there too.
I dunno, I think it helps mitigate the poor outcome that occasionally happens when your Spiteful Summoner can't pull anything from your deck...though i agree most times it'll just have the same effect (summon 1 minion) for 3 mana more...
