  • So you play Big Spell Druid and then this is just a free 5/5 on turn 6. Classic Druid I guess, but at least the mana cheating is hard-locked to 6-mana.

Also there'S some cost reduction Alignment bullshit just waiting to happen. let's hope that deck is dead for good.

    • Isn't it the synergy with Alignment negative in this instance ?

Because you would only get one mana back anyway ?

Even if you managed to generate some heavy-costed spell after setting cost; you would still be set back by having reset max. mana crystal to 1.

Don't get me wrong : I have no doubt someone will manage to pull a lot of value out of this.  But I don't expect it to be more broken than its spiritual predecessors.

Hopefully, it will be a sanest Khun, for a sanest Standard : A bit faster at 6-mana, but more nuanced - due to being dependent from your hand's content -.

  • I do not see the synergy with this card.  At best, its a 0 mana 5-5, which honestly isn't even that strong anymore.  Antisynergy with Celestial Alignment, and not much with the tempo side of naga midrange.

  • Well the good news is that there aren't a whole lot of Druid spells that Cost 6 or more, so the odds that Druid can play this as a "free" 5/5 are a lot lower than they might otherwise have been. That being said, we know that Blizzard will eventually print more big spells for Druid, so I guess we gotta watch out.

  • I dont know how, but this card will blow up wild and then in standard at a different time.

I mean, its practically Forest Warden Omu in most cases.

  • Looks like a decent mana cheat for druid!

  • So if you play this naga while there's a 10 mana spell in hand, you're basically getting 4 extra mana for free. Ofc this won't happen in standard as Survival of the Fittest is rotating but there's always the next 2 expansions and mini-sets to add more big spells.

Just depends in big spell druid is viable on rotation

  • Wow Big spell druid support, this will be soo good alongside Survival of the Fittest! Oh wait, that rotates.... Actually druids have a really shallow 6+ mana spell pool after rotation. Celestial Alignment, Scale of Onyxia, Miracle Growth and Best in Shell are the only 6+ mana cards in standard, and are basically the only card you want to run Green-Thumb Gardener with. Honesty i'm not 100% certain about this card RIGHT NOW, but when it gets any support it might be a really good card.

  • Was Druid gaining any mana ramp to make up for the loss of Overgrowth? This may not be a substitute, but it could potentially double the amount of mana you can spend in one turn.

  • I'm really unsure about Druid's Naga package but ...
"Sometimes all a plant needs is, like, A LOT of water."

  • Basically a free 5/5 in Ramp Druid, could even play cheaper spells first before reloading back to full mana in the right circumstances.

  • Seems like a strong card. It should be easy enough to at least make it a free 5/5, so I can see it being ran in spell Druid!
