Today I found this forum and feel like I really need to talk about my two pasions
"Pasta" and "Milanesa Napolitana con Papas Fritas"
Pasta is really well known and I hthink some spaghettis with mushroom stew and cheese is just amazing.
On the other hand we have the Milanesa. It is something really popular where I used to live. You can find its recipe here
It is in spanish, but can be translated with help of google.

Probably this is not really healthy, but damn it is good.

My dish of choice is simply called "Phil's Soup", named after my mom's boyfriend. It's got chunky potatoes, cheese, bacon, garlic & onion; it's more of a chowder, but damn is it delicious. Pair it with a Caesar salad and some bread to mop it up...yum.
I'm not on speaking terms with my mom at the moment, so I only get to have the soup when my sister makes it for me for my birthday. Gonna have it tonight, in fact 🙂
Beyond that, you can't go wrong with a juicy steak!

One of my favorite meals is my mom's chicken pot pie. She makes a cream cheese crust for the top, and even when I was a vegetarian, I would still eat that delicious pie (made from neighborhood chickens). It means the whole family is together, at least for a few hours.
