It has potential but it's very narrow potential. If there were a control hunter deck, maybe this would be worth trying?

I really like the effect but this seems way too expensive at 5 mana
It clearly fits into some kind of control hunter, which historically was not good enough except when it had Deathstalker Rexxar to single-handedly carry pretty much any hunter deck. That said, the value of this card can increase a lot when it copies Dire Frenzy buffed beasts like Vicious Scalehide for great sustain+removal or Savannah Highmane for massive, mana-efficient threats.
I always have a lot of decks during spoiler season if you want some ideas; remember, most of the internet would not function if there weren't plenty of users willing to volunteer their time to provide content and assistance for one another!
If you compare this to War Master Voone you will see how this is trash
Huge tempo loss, so is the value. Could see some play if an archetype with high-impact beasts emerges in a very slow meta.
So it's like War MAster Voone, but worse in every way?
Minor Synergy with Emeriss and some potential for janky OTKs
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
mhm...mb some OTK shenanigans with Stonetusk Boar , Dire Frenzy, Master's Call ? Seems like a lot of work though while your opponent skullfucks you for several turns ^^
