Make it possible to instantly open the last page in a thread

Now that this site has been up for a while, some threads are growing in size, such as the ever popular Group Therapy / Salt thread. This thread currently has 12 pages, which I enjoy reading, but... it currently takes me four clicks to get to the latest page or comment of this thread, which makes me salty and in need of group therapy.

Currently, the thread has 12 pages. If I want to navigate to page 12, I have to take the following steps:

  1. Click to open the thread
  2. Click on the three dots "..." next to number 5. This opens the thread on page 6.
  3. Click on the three dots "..." next to number 10. This open the thread on page 11.
  4. Click on the number 12 to open 

From my perspective, it would be more intuitive if clicking the three dots would direct you to the last page in the thread.

So the request is simple:

  • Please make it possible to either directly open a thread on the latest page, or allow a one-click opening of the last page once the thread is opened.

This will become more relevant once the threads increase in size

      I support this. What would be even better - a direct link to the oldest unread posting in the thread (since your last visit to the forum).

  • All things you both suggest are planned. For now, you can get to last post (not last unread) by clicking on the small arrow icon next to the user's name in the Last Post column. The last post is obviously on the last page, so this is a quick way to get there. You will however need to check back for unread posts yourself for now.

  • It seems sticky threads don't have that. And the 80g quest trading thread is sticky.

      You can view 80g thread from the Recent Threads page, where it does have the arrow ;-)
