IT'S SMORCING TIME.
SMOrc
what a weird statline for a weapon. I know it's just a Rogue Hero power, but it still feels awkward
Would have much preferred if it invoked on attack, but on a 3-mana weapon instead, but I guess that would have been way too crazy.
Either way, we basically have Fiery Waraxe back...for one turn, but hey, it's the thought that counts.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I knew it! One of the Warrior invoke cards had to be a weapon! This is a 4/2 weapon for 2 mana on the turn it's played. Temporarily, it's stronger than unnerfed Fiery War Axe. It falls off completely next turn but it probably already did something good on the previous turn so i think this is a very strong card. If you are already Galakrond then the low attack doesn't even matter. Really good.
"True mastery takes dedication."
Rogue hero power but on the turn it's played it's a 4 attack weapon. Nice card, galakrond warrior seems fun but I'm not sure how it will fare against pirate warrior.
No way!
It is just a trick that it is 1/2.
You play this card in a deck only with full of invoke cards and it will have always 4 attack with your invokes.
It is really an illusion. A 4/2 weapon which looks like 1/2.
Brilliant but a fraud.
Oh, and it chops rituals. Cool...

So when played its a 4/2 weapon, which then becomes a 1/1 after attacking (due to the Invoke).
Yeah this will see play in the Galakrond, the Unbreakable deck, pretty powerful honestly and I do think this deck will be good.
Heroic strike with upsides, weapon synergies, etc. Obviously goes into any Galakrond warrior deck.
pretty much all invokes are bad. i liked this one
This is pretty perfect in an aggressive Invoke Warrior. It does all the things you want, and covering up the second half doesn't feel bad because you get most of the value up front. I mean really this compares very very well with Heroic Strike, a staple in aggro warrior decks.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Weak. You need to invoke Galakrond only twice and there are so many other good invoke cards. I doubt that this one will see any play.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Not too bad considering its a 4/2 on the first swing for only 2 mana.
lol rogue hero power is here
The turn you play this, it's a 4 attack weapon, but then it's a 1 attack weapon again...Seems okay, and might be a staple in a Galakrond Warrior because its class invokes are kind of weak, but it's not nearly as strong as a lot of other class invokes.
Not bad card actually (Rogue hero power for Warrior). And seems to fit a more Aggressive playstyle Galakrond seems to push towards. Will see play for sure in those decks!
2 Mana Deal 4 is pretty decent. And you get to keep a 1-1 Weapon. Not much, but at least something.

On the turn it's played it's a very good weapon since it is 4 damage to the face on turn 2. Playing other invoke cards on the same turn and you get a leeroy!
4 damage is pretty much always overkill on turn 2, and 1 damage is underwhelming on turn 3, so it is certainly no Fiery War Axe of old.
Still, it adds to the smorc-fest I expect the warrior Galakrond deck to become. The spiritual successor to old pirate warrior, that may or may not use pirates.
When you invoke you gain +3 attack, so this will allow you to deal 4 damage the turn you play it.
Pirate warriors could possibly run galakrond so they can take advantage of the extra face damage you get from invoking. Plus, cards like Dread Corsair and Bloodsail Raider could take advantage of having a 4/2 weapon on turn 2.
I am interested to see how warrior does this set, there are a lot of new cards for warriors to play around with. We will just have to wait and see, but I am confident that a pirate/galakrond deck will see some level of play, and this card will be in it.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
a 1 mana 4/2 weapon on t1 and 1/1 weapon t2
Aside from divine shield stuff, is there much that can actually survive this on 2? Looks pretty good, shame it doesn’t have much attack afterwards, but at least it’s a ping afterwards. That’s still useful
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
pretty darn good, a solid 4 damage first turn then a 1/1 weapon the next turn, overall it will be a staple in any galakrond warrior deck.
A not-bad aggressive Galakrond weapon. I like it, especially in a theoretical Quest Galakrond deck.
You guys are skipping something.
You say it like you can't buff it again to 4/1 at the second swing. Other invoke cards also will give you +3 attack with Warrior. So;
Turn 2 this = 4/2
Turn 3 any invoke card = 4/1
Stop mentioning Rogue heropower. This is just a 4/2 weapon. Don't let it fools you.

Such a tiny thing. Better Upgrade.
Considering you'll be able to invoke on your next hit with another card this is really good.
This is probably the best invoke card in this expansion literally it has no downside.
nice and cheap for invoking war. can be used early to avoid late game turn skips..
Invoke again for a true 4/2 weapon. Who needs Fiery War Axe?
Who needs any other weaponry when you can just Upgrade! ?
Rhetorical, you'll presume. And it will be indeed correct!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
4/2 on first turn so it's a better Fiery War Axe if used immediately on the first turn, then it's a rogue hero power, which is not that bad, also boost your galakrond which is important.
not bad at all, on curve pretty strong to control early minions
It's like the Rogue's Hero Power. A good Invoke card, without weak stats or a downside. playing this weapon makes it a 4 attack weapon on the turn it's played so it's cheap and strong removal. One of the better Invoker cards in my opinion.
This is a very cool invoke card, we can see has a 4 attack weapon when played and a 1 attack after. Is cheap and does something on the board, so it helps evolving Galakrond to his final form sooner and warriors want to evolve Galakrond early
Not bad for a cheap Invoke. Given how strong Warrior Galakrond looks, I'm sure we'll get use out of this.
This is a 4/2 weapon for 2 mana on the turn it's played. Strong card in aggresive Galakrond deck and this weapon can combo with pirate like Dread Corsair and Bloodsail Raider
Cool weapon for galakrond warrior. I expect will be underated
The old fiery war axe is back with a little correction. Perfect in a pirate galakrond deck. Can be aggressive or gives tempo advantage.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
That 1 atk is pretty sad for a Warrior's weapon, if you ask me lol But if you want to take your Galakrond to full power you will have to run this in 2x, so... ;)
4 damage when you play it and then only 1 damage on the next turn. It's a nice early weapon for Galakrond warrior that helps activate Scion of Ruin as soon as possible.
More dragons? Yes please!
it's kinda like heroic strike the turn you play it since the invoke gives you +3 atk seems solid I expect it to be seen although it doesn't look too annoying.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Decent early removal and cheap invokation. Will be used in Galakrond warrior.
A nice looking card with acceptable value for a warrior invoker. For an aggro deck, this is a better Heroic Strike, which is a good burst card. Also, 1/1 weapon leftover is far from useless early, and becomes 4 when invoked again, which can really matter. I like the design, pretty good card.
Strong weapon if you use galakrond, obviously. 4/2 is really good at 2 mana and some aggresive type of decks might use this with galakrond just for this effect. Beware of aggro warrior.
It's a great card, sometimes it will attack with 4 damage twice, for a 2 mana weapon, incredible powerful.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
A 1/2 weapon for 2 mana is bad, but the Invoke effect makes it a 4 attack weapon in the first turn. This card might be good in Galakrond Warrior, where it gives a massive tempo swing in the turn it is played.
almost the worst invoke card that they released I think :/
It's almost like a pre-nerf fiery war axe, but with a bigger front end, and a much smaller back end.
There is probably a joke in there somewhere.
Im having trouble seeing this card actually be that powerful. Its definitely good enough to play, but I just dont think itll make or break the deck
Wow! I'd say it's one of the best invoke cards in the expansion. It's cheap, it might be useful for an agressive or a slow warrior deck. And on a turn it's played it's a 4-2 weapon right? Very like this one. A strong addition to a Galakrond warrior.
The Invoke effect means this weapon has 4 attack when you first play it but then only 1 attack afterward. Probably still good enough to see play purely as a 2 mana, deal 4 damage card.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Can pirate Malacron warrior be a thing? if yes, it's because of this weapon. Warrior didn't got many invoke cards, nor were they good.
Not much value, early game you would prefer to play some minions rather than a weapon that invokes the warrior's galakrond...
Great invoke card and great for early board control.
Great invoke card. It's cheap and the first swing is always 4 damage. With the coin you always make 4 face damage. I'll say it's a good card.
Get to the Choppa!
After accounting +3 attack for invoking this seems pretty good to me. Nice tempo weapon that pushes yor Galakrond further.
Fun and interactive game.
Agree with you! Not crazy powerful, but balanced and with a place in a new archetype.
Yeah, I miss Fiery Win Axe.
A better Fiery war axe for a turn and a rogue hero power for the next, a very solid card overall.
