I appreciate all the coverage of Runeterra and I am enjoying the game.
I understand the need to showcase topdecks but for players like me who are slowing building up their champion collections, it would be nice to see decks that require only 1 of each champion
I have been playing since the start of the beta and only have 16 of the 24 champions. And of those 16 I only have a second copy of 5 of them.
This is actually much more complicated than you imply. There are many champions that you would never include unless you build your deck around them (e.g., YasouBADCARDNAME, Ezreal) and some which you can use as well-statted followers that can drop into any compatible deck in a pinch (e.g., Kalista, Garen, Zed). I'd recommend heading over to the forums and creating a thread, listing what you have and soliciting advice.
In the general: if you don't have much beyond the starting cards, you're probably looking at the following deck options:
As you pick up cards, you might be able to branch out into new archetypes: Dawnspeakers -> SI / Demacia spiders, Rhasa the Sunderer -> SI / anything control, etc.
Most refined lists are going to show multiple copies of Champions.
If you don't have that many, just substitute other cards in the list -- usually units with similar mana cost or similar function to the Champ.
I own three Elise, two Hecarim, and one Thresh, so maybe that's a sign that I should be playing Dawnspiders 2.0.
It's kinda funny to see Noxus used in control decks. I don't doubt the effectiveness; it's just not what you think of for that region.
Control is the name of the women respecter who made that deck. Check out his yt channel, hes pretty chill and a big brain gamer!
Yeah, his name is not the best with him being involved in card games. Try searching "control" on YouTube and all you find are "Control Decks for X". So it's pretty difficult to even find his channel.
That Avarosan Frost Midrange seems interesting, but I'm missing Katarina and one Ashe.
Guess I've to find the time to do a couple of Expeditions.
I feel the Ashe will be especially useful long-term since I don't see Frostbite ever being bad!
(Nerd:on)Frostbite is bad when there is not enough draw in the deck.(Nerd:off)
