For last few years Blizzard made the next year announcement in last week of February, Tuesday or Thursday.
So, I’m predicting that tomorrow, latest this Thursday big news will arrive.

For last few years Blizzard made the next year announcement in last week of February, Tuesday or Thursday.
So, I’m predicting that tomorrow, latest this Thursday big news will arrive.
What do you expect to come?
This year for the first time we had a mid-term expansion, so new announcements could be delivered later than usual - because we are not really starving for them this time, not yet.
Or they can treat this last adventure like they treated icecrown, dungeon run, etc. If they see it in that way, probably they'll announce the year tomorrow or Thursday.
I was actually expecting the first week of March to be the announcement time. But I don't remember if they do a "Year of the X" announcement and THEN the expansion announcement later?! Regardless, if it's not this week, next week for sure we should hear something.
But remember, they also had a summit with various HS pros and streamers in attendance lately, getting people like Frodan on the hype train for how BIG the upcoming news and changes to HS were going to be. So if they are planning some grand announcement involving way more than an expansion and year name, it could also come a little later than normal.

Naaah, first you will get teaser about announcement about announcement and new year will be Year of the Cancer Priest.
I really liked the idea of the "Year of the Phoenix" someone came up with last week - standing for renewal and rebirth and a great HS overhaul. I won't get my hopes too high, though. I think something will be announced today or on thursday.

:( but it was worth a try. I also don't think that we're getting the information today for 2 reasons:
1) Overwatch is getting a new event today and a big announcement would distract both playerbases from eachother.
2) The year of the Dragon announcement was on a Thursday.
So we did not got anything last week. But today at 19:00 CEST (adjust it to your time zone) we should get a cardback and sixpack of cards.

If they want to release the first expansion as usual, there should be! Clock is ticking!
The announcement comes mid-march as they posted last week. So couple of weeks still.
So they announced an announcement...and ppl cared about it! Wished I were that popular for ppl to give a damn when I will announce anything.
Mid-March, so the earliest I'm guessing is next week. My guess is announcement will be on Thursday 3/12.
