You will pay for that, cur !
Ooof. This again with the spells. I guess I can continue to mine Paladin for dust for another season.
Why does it keep feeling like Paladin is going to be next up to get an overhaul like Priest?...
It's a cool card, value generators are never a bad thing, I'm just concerned about the Paladin identity and the number of directions Blizz keeps pulling the class at the same time.
I guess her sword wont be burning with holy fire after all
That Sound the Bells! value, oof.
hey sweet, a value legendary
op in quest paladin lol
Wait, so we're dancing this old dance again? First the murloc epic weapon, now the buff legendary?
So Team 5 is going to keep giving Paladin the "we have 100 class identities" thing again?
About the card: I do enjoy a good card generator - and Liadrin is an incredible card generator; it works with spells that you played on both your hero and your minions, but... is that good enough? Will Paladin be able to control the board or pressure the opponent in a way that makes this card the great play it's supposed to be? Because turn 7 is far away, and a card that has no impact on the board right away risks to be a fluke instead of a trump card.
I guess we'll be looking out for low cost and valuable spells from Paladin
I mean, it might be nice, but just now, when Immortal Prelate rotates out? It'sn not going to see play, buffadin never really worked and even less without the Prelate.
Seems like Pure Paladin support. Although I can see this being used for Control Paladin; getting multiple copies of Lightforged Blessing or even Subdue, if you target your own minions, would be great in the late game. It wouldn't be too bad either to get more copies of Blessing of Kings or Pharaoh's Blessing if you're playing Buff Paladin.
The card is a reload for your hand. It will probably work in an aggressive, buff small minion deck. On turn 7, you know you can at least ensure you have plenty of spells back in your hand.
It could work.
Huge value but slow.
If it was ANY spells, now that would be interesting.
But just buffs, it won't work.
It says friendly Characters, so you also get the Spells you cast on your Hero.
Very slow, but unlike Lynessa Sunsorrow it's not weak against Silence.
Youre right. Its just weak all on its own.
The only strength this card has is that its a pally lengendary so there's some synergy with Lightforged Crusader. But my god you've got to go dumpster diving to get something even resembling good with this card.
Pure Pally in a Nutshell :)
Well....this seems a bit underwhelming
Also weird that they'd print her as a hero now of all things
Agreed. They need to pick a stance on characters being cards or skins and flipping stick to it.
She has links to Shattrath City (in Outland), and I think it is only the basic 10 heroes that have (unwritten?) rule to not become non-hero cards. Maiev will definitely appear (neutral legendary by the looks of it) and of course Medivh and Khadgar are already minions.
I hope i dont unpack this one, it’s way too slow to do any inpact when played.
Its Lynessa Sunsorrow but worse. In fact, very much worse. The best thing about Lynessa was that it cast the spells for you, so value is guaranteed. This one generates a bunch of spells without guarantee of anything sticking on board to use it next turn. Hell, she doesnt even come with her own divine shield and/or taunt so its a turn 7 do nothing essentially.
But perhaps there's some overpowered buff spell yet to be revealed (maybe even a legendary buff spell) that will make Lady Liadrin more than trash right now.
