i like gen 5 alot
hahahaha you like gen 5? dude you are an idiot. you are probably a gen 5 baby
i know its an unpopular opinion but i actually like gen 5.
Gen 5 is my favourite aswell, by far the most complete games. Especially B2W
dude just stop talking before i have to check your posts to expose how stupid you are
dude you too? man you kids are dum
ok listen you are just being annoying. i understand if you dont agree with me but you need to stop ok
For me is gen 2, I love Typhlosion because was one of the first cards I had on the tcg.
the thing i loved the most about b/w 2 is the pokestar studios
Gen 3, probably due to the fact that that was my first pokemon game (Sapphire).
By far the best starters and coolest legendaries in my opinion.
I like Gen 4 the most cause it has a lot of evolutions and improvements, also it's the first generation that got rid of the base type attacks and made the attacks stay usage based on move..
That made 0 sense I mean.. Ghost was physical.. After split all ghost attacks were special.. Same for dark all dark moves were actually physical.
It's not my fav Gen but I like Gen 5 there are many cool consepts there.
I have to say I didnt enjoy that bit too much, but that had mainly to do with the forced tutorial about it after the second gym, the concept is pretty neat.
Generation 4! Diamond Pearl and Platinum but also the remakes. I really loved them, the pokemon walking with you was a dream and really I don't understand why they can't do it again, in particular with a better console like Switch. Then I remember "Dexit" (#BringBackNationalDex) and the fact that Game Freak is just so lazy...
Not everyone is mother tongue! Roar.
First banned account in ooc history?
LOL I just realized he opened the thread and then picked a fight, you ask for an opinion and then hate on other's opinions? Wtf
In terms of Pokémon, gen 2. The designs were all very inspired, improving on the first generation which had a lot of "filler" Pokémon (Voltorb, Grimer, Ekans, etc.). Also, it introduced the Steel type, which has some of the coolest designed Pokémon in the entire series (Scizor, Steelix, Skarmory).
In terms of games, generation 4. HGSS are the pinnacle of Pokémon game design, with the physical/special split being absolutely necessary, more uniqueness between different Pokémon species (abilities) and individuals (natures) which they added in gen 3, and Pokémon following you were awesome. I don't feel like any addition post-generation 4 was as big as an improvement on the core gameplay as the physical/special split.
I like both gen 4 and gen 5. Cant really pick between em.
Gen 4: Good music, the first pokemon game that had wifi/wireless communications, and the highest difficulty games in the entire history of pokemon. (Main series) Platinum was my favorite gen 4 game, because its really challenging (Who didn't have trouble with fantina as the 3rd gym leader) And Synthia is just an awesome champion and Always a blast to fight. This gen also gave us the Special/attack split, which made competative pokemon more interesting. It also had pokemon that can walk behind you, which was an amazing feature. (Yes i'm counting the gen 2 remakes as gen 4 games) It also had battle Frontiers, which is where is spent a lot of time, its just unfortunate that these games were the last ones with a battle frontier... Game Freak please dont be lazy and add one in a eventual gen 4 Remake...
Gen 5: I know its not a populair gen, but i love it regardless. Its i.m.o the Best gen in terms of Story. I really like that gamefreak actually made a (At the time) new pokemon game that had only new pokemon available. (And ofc, older pokemon after game) It's quite funny that people were asking for this, only to hate it a lot once they got it. they improved the important trainer Poses/animations a lot compared to Gen 4. They also made some Really good music for the games. It is also the first generation that uses its 2nd game as an actual sequel to the event of the first game. Also in black/white 2 there is the PWT, so you can fight all gym leaders/champions from ALL generations prior to the games. Yeh the PWT might not be as good as the Battle Frontier that gen 3/4 had, but it was awesome regardless.
Anyways this is just my opinion.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I am old school so 1 is the best obviously but I really liked sun and moons designs a lot, some of those new ones are really awesome
