Runeterra Expidition greed
every card game has an arena game type that people with good skills and want to get all cards witchout spending thousands of dollars can play to grind there way up there. in most of these games you can get the currency that you spent on the arena run and start profiting is after about 65% of the run being won. in legends of runeterra you only get back the currency that you spent after fully winning the expedition!!!! and you dont get a sinhle extra green essense you litterly end up with 2000. and if you finiah with 6 oit of 7 wins you only get 1000 essense wich means you lose half of it. that it self ia extremly greedy since it will be hard to grind the expedition. but we can argue that it is much easier to get a perfect run in runeterra than other card games. but then you have a LIMITED AMOUNT OF EXPEDITIONS PER WEEK. that is the most greedy and bullshitty thing i have ever seen in a cardgame. seriously riot proved it self more greedy that blizzard with that cheap move. they blocked all our ways of grinding up the full collection of cards and is forcing us to either grind for many weeks or to pay alot of money to get the cards. honestly this is a game breaking experiense for me and i dont think i will take this game seriously anymore since it is such a money trap.

Since they removed the "champions" reward , expeditions are a waste of time. You get an Epic that most likely you don't need (otherwise you had already crafted it) and very little more. Not worth the time dedicated to play. Since then I retire, redeem my free capsule each week immediately and forget about expeditions.

I disagree because of the following reasons:
1. You also get experience from your expedition games, which results in more rewards. You also continue to get experience for any expeditions after you've completed your first three.
2. You also get cards or wild cards depending on the amount of wins you got, plus additional shards from the guaranteed epic capsule.
3. You already mentioned it yourself, but reaching the maximum rewards is a lot easier in Legends of Runeterra compared to other card games (at least as far as I know).
4. It's really easy to get a free expedition token each week, meaning that if you get max wins in all three expeditions you can get 2000 shards for free in a week in addition to all of the additional rewards. Of course you shouldn't count on being able to do this every week, but the way you're complaining about expeditions makes it seem like you expect to consistently get to 7 wins.
thats my point exactly. i dont expect to get 7 wins per run. this is why i should be getting my shards back in 5 or 6 wins and get extra on 7. making it 7 wins to only get my shards back breaks the whole idea of the expedition. also you didnt mention the cap per week. i have no idea why would they cap me to 3 expedutions per week. there only reason for this is to limit the grinding cap for people.
I think everyone expects to have a full collection right away for free. They want to play every deck anytime the meta changes. Expeditions are just meant to test your limited skills really.
I average three champions a week from Legends of Runeterra reward system. I only play 3 wins per day, 1 quest and expedition per week (even if I get seven wins I just save the shards for a champion.)

Calling Riot greedy is ridiculous. I do agree that Expeditions doesn’t provide the same rewards for consistent victories as Arena in Hearthstone, but I think this is intentional. In HS, Arena is basically the only way to get cards quickly, making it so that players who don’t have an interest in playing Arena will always be behind those who are good at it. Riot actually severely nerfed the rewards from expeditions in Beta because it motivated players to grind expeditions, even if they would prefer to play constructed.
Secondly, you can actually go infinite in expeditions very easily, since after 3 expeditions you can play as many expeditions as you want for free. This makes it so that players who simply enjoy playing expeditions can play it instead of ranked and get similar rewards. The fact that you don’t consider this as going infinite it expeditions means that you don’t actually care about playing expeditions, you just want high rewards for playing expeditions, like in HS.
This means that your real problem is with Runeterra’s Progression system. Personally, I don’t have any problem with LoR’s Progression, since it seems fast but fun. I don’t play that many games per day, but at this point I could craft the rest of the Rising Tides set with just my shards and wildcards. The rewards for high wins might be lower, but in LoR the Progression per game is still much higher than in HS, even if you were a high level Arena player.
So...they're blocking all our ways of getting a full collection, but still allowing you to grind up to a full collectio? Explain.
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
Then if you like draft play it, otherwise don't that doesn't make the mode pointless I really enjoy the mode for what it is...
