I know this is silly, but...
So I'm on the fence about trying either Miss Fortune or Fizz--both look really fun but for totally different reasons, and I'm 0/3 on both. Meanwhile I've got 3/3 TF and 2/3 of Naut & GP. Then I notice that I'm at Level 16 for Bilgewater rewards so I figure: I'll push that region, pick up the wildcard at L18 and the champion capsule at L23, then if I likely get either my first MF or first Fizz from the champion capsule then I'll use that wild card to craft another which will give me 2/3 and that will be enough to at least craft a deck and play a little before I commit to crafting the third copy.
Good plan, right? Totally works around my crippling indecisiveness. So I do all that, and I grind XP for the weekend and I finally hit L23 last night and I anxiously open my champion capsule to find...
Which is good, right? Except to my twisted mind, it feels worse. :-P
What about you guys? Have you ever had any illogical feelings about something in-game? Or alternatively: advice about whether I should craft Fizz or MF first?

I had the same thing happen to me, only in Freljord: went to open the L23-champion capsule for a second Sejuani, and instead got a champion wildcard. I wanted Sejuani, but now I'm debating whether or not to keep it for someone else.
As for the Fizz vs MF debate, I choose MF. I plan to create an MF deck at some point, as well.
I dislike getting Wildcards for similar reasons. Most of the time I'd rather take any random card of that rarity (excluding Commons and Rares).
For the Champion choice, that would be an easy Miss Fortune to me, Fizz is just annoying.
Sometimes, i like to have fun with one of my unicorn decks (Kinkou Teemo, Heimer Purrsuit, Shipwreck Hoarder ressurect, etc) and then i face someone polite who knows how to properly use emotes, playing a weird deck, very likely doing so to grind quests.
So i leave him at one HP, followed by a mutual Shen emote... then i concede.
Even without being able to see his reaction, add as a friend or talk, it feels pretty good :)

I totally get what you mean about Wildcards.
Getting a Champion Wildcard (or any other rarity for that matter) is technically a strict upgrade over just getting a random Champion, but at the same time, getting a random Champion would probably give me more incentive to try to build something with it. Maybe I'm just also way too stingy with Wildcards?
Yeah I'm with most people here that I kind of prefer getting random champions than wildcards, just because it gives you an idea of what deck to go for. Especially in this meta where almost everything is viable, it really feels like you're kind of overwhelmed by the amount of decks you can play. Which is, of course, a fantastic thing.
In regards to which champ: Fizz is the more fun card (unless you're on the receiving end) and a champion you can actually build a deck around. Whereas Miss Fortune is the better card but not one you play to level. You really just slot her into tempo decks because she's good as a 3 mana 3/3 with upside.
So, if you want fun, pick Fizz. If you want the most competitive card, pick Miss Fortune.
I know what you are talking about.
let me give you the most uncommitted answer: craft one copy of each to see how it feels :D that way you are not choosing and you are building 2 decks instead of 1 sure they are less consistent but you get to try both for next week/when you get more shards/wild cards
Also I tend to use shards as well for crafting champions so you can also use that instead of wild cards.. so have 1 and 1 and then go for the route you enjoyed more..
personally I liked fizz more.. but I know MF fits into more decks.
When I have this kind of dilemma, I decide based on fun factor - meaning choose the one that you want to play / find cool atm. Watching gameplay videos may help with getting that feeling.
Or you can choose by checking win rates, but I would recommend the first option.
I never apologize… I’m sorry but that’s the way I am.
Yea i feel the same way towards those wildcard. I guess it is because our inability to decide so we rather let the game decide for us, and then we follow it up.
But if i were the OP, i would just craft Sejuani because it is what you originally wanted, right. Just think of it as another form of the game giving you Sej.
With all the elusive decks that i'm seeing playing fizz is kinda bad unless you got tons of spells to let him survive versus other elusive followers/champions.
Pretty nice when you can block their spells with fizz tho.
Same reason why teemo is bad but teemo has the extra downside of being more targetable by spells compared to fizz.
