For the F2P users should they make a way to convert shards into coins or wildcards into coins?

Just an idea. Even if you only get like half the value.

The only thing you can't get when you are a free to play player are the aestetics like companion, card back, arena and emotes.
If you really want those I think it is fair to spend the 10 or so bucks.
If the game wasn't free to play I'd absolutely agree on your idea, but since it is free to play I'm absolutely okay with how things are.
Runeterra is VERY F2P friendly. The cosmetics are their way to monetize the game, so they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they allowed this.
I could see maybe allowing you to convert X amount of common wildcards into a rare and then X of rare into epic etc.
no, Runetterra is already the most F2P a card game can be.
In general, I agree with the sentiment that "cool" cosmetics should be cash-only. Honestly, I am at a point where I kind of feel bad I haven't given Riot any money yet: I've been playing almost daily since open-beta, have nearly all cards, and am enjoying much more than HS, yet I've given Blizzard ~$100-150 over the years and Riot $0--entirely because HS would do the devilish thing where I felt like I had to spend cash to make competitive decks whereas LoR is extremely generous in crafting resources if you're patient and play regularly.
The one exception is that I wish they would provide a few more non-cash cosmetics. They already have given rainbow poro pet, rainbow poro emote, and moonshine poro as time-limited free-bees and region-specific cardbacks as progression rewards, and I use those liberally. They also have done the ladder-based icons, but honestly I think those all look like trash. And no non-cash boards. Again: I do think all the "cool" cosmetics should be cash-only as that's essentially Riot's sole revenue stream, but I would also like to see a few more offerings along these lines.
i havent played the game in like 40 days. im a f2p and if i wanted to craft any of the top tier decks from scratch i could not to mention i basically have already the cards for it minus one or two. the amount of shards and wildcards amassed while collecting cards through playing the game only is absurd. its the most f2p card game there ever was and probably ever will be
Looking at League, they do have a small portion of cosmetics for shards, so maybe, eventually, they will make something like that in LOR as well. The game is still very young. Shards also came into existence in LOL only after few years of the game being out. Not saying they have to take few years to implement it here, but like i said, the game is young.
@OP: Basically what others have said, the game is F2P and the monetization comes from cosmetics, same as with LOL. Be very glad that is their model.

Considering that you can get pretty much everything for free.I really see no reason they should give us coins. It would make no sense.
