I was testing it out for efficacy's sake. Generally speaking it probably isn't a good card but I ended up getting a sphere of sapience one game off of one of my Blessed Goods cards, and it turned out to be extremely helpful.
I'm questioning a fair amount of cards in the deck at the moment (sphere being one of them)
Sphere of Sapience - (meme testing and seeing if it's worth helping re-draw, but will probably drop it tomorrow)
Alliance Bannerman - Not sure this goes in this deck. I think either Safety Inspector or Hand of A'dal may be better. Further testing needed. It's saving grace is that it specificaly tutors out a minion, while Hand simply draws.
The deck succeeds at an aggro variant, which is helpful in our current quest/solitare meta. But if the quests get nerfed or we get into a more board centric game with some future balance changes, I think the deck will want to lean more towards mid-range and less aggro.
I'm also not sold on the inclusion of Kazakus, Golem Shaper (but he has helped me win a few unwinnable matches) or any of the other high cost cards. The deck suffers from draw, and Taelan Fordring and Cornelius Roame both feel like smart inclusions to help draw, but they often are awkward/hard to play.
Right now I often succeed in having the final stage of the quest completed by turn 5, but my turns are awkward and I can't smoothly play it out on turn 5,6,7 ---which can be game deciding.
I wonder if the new windfury card may not be better, or other cards which can help discount. I'm also debating Wandmaker.
I'm also a little hesitant on how good Conviction currently is right now. Games don't reach 10 mana often, so you're at best giving 2 minions +3 attack (total of +6 attack for 1 mana) which isn't horrible, but it almost feels like something else should be in the deck...
If you have any suggestions I'd be open to trying them!
Games and decklists are revolved around mage. So its unsurprising that handbuff pally has a near auto win against everything except for mage. I would recommend to those interested in pally to ditch the heavy cards like Cornelius Roame and Varian, King of Stormwind. Games just never get that far. You're much better off with Mutanus and a very early board.
Also, viper just updated his decklist. Removing Kodo Mount for Voracious Reader. Having played aggro druid myself, I can confirm that that is the correct change because if druid isn't having a full board by turn 4 chances are good you've already lost. And the hand is mostly empty past turn 4 anyway.
This is the most combo focused (and the fastest combo) meta we've ever had in my memory. So unsurprisingly midrange and control aren't going to be good, which is a shame because that's usually where we see more diversity and interaction in the meta. Its all hyper aggro or combo now.
2 days in and I'm already out. lol. I keep facing the same 2 decks (QLock & QMage) and they are both completely stupid. Cycle through everything, discount everything, SD for mage and constant heals for lock while doing so. Neither need to reach turn 8, ever.
I suspect they'll see auto-concedes similar to what caused them to nerf priest a month ago.
Yeah, no need for it. I would change the guide and cards when I got the time. Gadgetzan Auctioneer is better with coins anyways but I will stick with my version, just don't like Octo-bot version.
Also took Goodboy's list above to 12 wins today. Voidtouched Attendant is insanely good, especially with Fireshaper. One game against an all spells DH I took him from 37 to zero using just two Bag of Coins and two Silences. I'd almost cut all other creatures and add Insight to maximize my chances of drawing her.
I haven't played with the deck much yet: only 3-1 so far, the loss being against a perfectly on-curve Quest Priest when all my buffs were on the bottom of my deck. As for replacing the Murloc, I would maybe just include a second Annoy-o-Tron: the Divine Shield is what matters, really, so swap a 2-mana guy for another 2-mana guy. I have yet to play the Prime so the Deathrattle has had zero effect on the games.
When you end the game as another class while playing rogue as Maestra of the Masquerade, you gain experience for the changed class, not for Rogue.
It felt funny so i wanted to open a thread about it. Anyone noticed it or is there any announcement about it which i don't know ? I am asking because It might be a bug.
Okay - I must have missed that Q&A or wherever that was originally posted, but it does seem like other shuffles (outside of the Trade mechanic) ought to treat them like any other card.
We had been told traded cards would retain buffs, so it seems to be functioning as intended. Except maybe via other shuffling e.g. with Plot Twist.
Honestly I'm not sure why they set it so they need to keep the buffs. I don't think anyone would have been annoyed had it worked the same as everything else.
I've been playing Handlock in wild and recently noticed that shuffling tradeable cards back into the deck (either via effects like Plot Twist or trading) doesn't seem to remove cost reductions on the card. I'm not sure if other buffs would also persist, but that certainly seems wrong.

D0nkey's Garrote Rogue
Spell damage stacking with Bleeds sounds like a bug. Corrupted Blood from Hakkar used to stack from Spell Damage but they changed that pretty quick.
So this just happened...Quest Pally vs Quest Mage. Turn 1 Win
Congrats, only a matter of time before I see this genius level play, not playing quest on turn 1 or testing Oh My Yogg! against pally.
Just curious, what is that Sphere of Sapience there for? Doesn't look like you'll ever need it since obviously you'll mull for First Day of School or a 1 drop minion, and there's 2x Sword of the Fallen in the deck anyway.

[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (Hearthstone Riddles)
Imo It's not quite as useless as Maestra but I'd say more useless than Darkness.
I'll be listing ***tips*** at the end of some of my posts for newcomers.

Maestra of the Masquerade levels other classes up
I can't say whether or not it is intentional, but it is inline with how playing a hero card from another class works so I wouldn't call it a bug.

Knowing Blizzard the next scandal is just going to be caused by Allan Brack with a crystal stuck in his forehead or Kel'thuzad for the 19th time.
